Hope it happens and quickly( 6 days left). Our pool of prospective targets getting smaller and smaller with the Remy saga getting ever more complicated. Note Spurs have agreed to sell Townsend to the Magpie's and reports still say they are in for Remy.

Done deal today according to the Standard.

I'll believe it when I see it.

At this stage, I'm hoping they've got it right. If AP/SP are OK with it, I'm not gonna argue.

Wildly exciting if true. A world-class striker and the finished article. Yes, I know he comes with baggage and I know there are questions over his long-term attitude but the point remains that he is in a different class to any striker we have signed in living memory. This is a player who, ability-wise, is top 4 quality. If we can get him heading in the right direction and feeling loved, this may go down as the best move we have made in a long time.

Towards the goal but not directly at the keeper would be a good start

I have read multiple RUMOURS on twitter its a deal to end of the season £60k a week. I stress the word rumour because it could be complete crap someone made up. I thought it an interesting talking point if true though. Good deal if its the case IMO.
This club of mine constantly tests my loyalty but I as do many other fans never falter or crumble My loyalty to the Palace will never waver My unadulterated passion for a club I’ve grown up supporting wont die, and my desire to keep coming back and take the blows won’t succumb to negativity |

Not ideal but, in light of how this window is panning out, it's better than nothing. Wonder how many weeks it's going to take to get him match fit...
