Anything to stay in power even the problems in Northern Ireland with all their history. ANYTHING to stop Corbyn getting into power you mean.

Paisley didn't kill, or order to be killed, anyone. Adams and McGuiness did. Edited by hedgehog50 (09 Jun 2017 2.03pm) Fine lines of plausible deniability - He certainly massively encourage Loyalist violence and murder. Its unknown whether or not Adams ordered anyone killed (I suspect it is the case). Of course Paisley did forge a great friendship with McGuiness.

Really? Nearly everyone I have spoken to who is British citizen and voted to 'leave' have said they would vote to remain in a 2nd referendum. Many said that as the story has unfolded they have realised what a disaster it would be for the UK and that they voted originally very naively and based on no real fact. Now the facts are coming out, many don't like the risk to their future or the future of their families, particularly their children. With regards to the EU acting like petulant children, all you're seeing is what the British press make up for their stories. the 'EU' is made up of 27 sovereign states and your viewpoint is typical - never understanding that there are 27 nations in these negotiations, not only the UK and one other. Now of course there has been a new raft of young people who can vote and as each month goes by, more will qualify age wise. A second EU referendum is now highly likey no matter what the British press will tell you and by then, even more young people will be voting. The whole idea of 'leaving' the EU was and still is a fad but it is a crumbling fad with the last 24 hours simply enforcing that fact. Edited by europalace (09 Jun 2017 2.18pm) What all three of them??

Problem I think for the Conservatives is that getting in bed with the DUP will only end up hurting them in the future, and alienating moderate Conservative voters (gay marriage, transgender rights, abortion etc) - plus they're not really too keen on May's Hard Brexit line. In the long run it could hurt them, in the ways that compromising with the conservatives really hurt the Liberal Democrats.

Of course Paisley did forge a great friendship with McGuiness. Again, just nonsense, fuelled by the left's tacit support for Irish Republicanism. Ex-IRA men have stated that Adams, as a commander in the IRA, ordered the killing of mother-of-ten Jean McConville, and no doubt many others.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

Get some sleep man, yer getting delusional. Not really, I don't really think it should go without comment when you promote people being called 'cnuts'. Especially when you've been right to moan about the amount of abuse you get. It kind of kills your argument. That's not a word you should promote that's all....Nothing more just my two pennies on it. Maybe it's me being overly pious but there you go. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Jun 2017 4.56pm)

As I said before the youngsters who got out of bed for the first time to vote do not realise the damage they have done in voting for free tuition and cheap housing it is sad to think that these young people will be the ones running the country when they are older. To be brain washed like they have been shows that Corbyn is a great speaker and auto suggestion master unlike May who is not called the "Ice Maiden" for nothing. She really has let the side down.
