evening staffie, Do you know if there is any bootleg circulating of the George Harrison concert at the RAH in 1992? (his only solo concert in the UK I think). It was in aid of the Natural Law Party (remember flying yogis?) and probably the most memorable concert I ever went to, mainly because it was so unique.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand! My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right. (Member of the School of Optimism 1969-2016 inclusive) |

Todays first download is a set by The Eagles that was recorded in Houston, Texas in 1976. This is in superb quality and is a great set by the band. They play songs from a few of their albums - including Hotel California, which had just been released. I've posted a few bootlegs by The Eagles over the years - this is another one for the collection - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by legendary female singer Joni Mitchell. This was recorded at the BBC's Shepherds Bush TV Studios on 3rd September 1970 and is in superb quality.The concert was shown on October 9th 1970 and there was only a small audience present for this show - less than 300 people. Joni is in great form and performs a top set composed mainly of songs from her first 3 albums, although she does perfom songs from the album "Blue" - which was to be released nearly a year later. I've posted a few boots by Joni in the past - this is another great show. Todays extra download is a set by The Kinks that was recorded at the Penn State Uni in Philadelphia 1979. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording. Some classic tracks are played by Ray Davies and the band like "You Really Got Me, Well Respected Man, You Really Got Me & Lola". I've posted a few boots by The Kinks over the years - this is another great show - thoroughly recommended.... Hi staffie - just been listening to the relatively new Waterboys album. After the game today I wonder of you could find their album Fisherman's Blues.
