I suspect that should the Conservatives and DUP form a government, then we'll start to see Sinn Fein participating in parliament. Seems like they could justify participation in parliament if it was to 'negate the influence of the DUP'. After months of 'terrorist' sympathiser rhetoric, May runs straight to the DUP. I don't see why Sinn Fein should not be taking up its seats they are approximately 50/50 with the DUP by the ballot box. Wonder what they are like on brexit.

So Labour supporters are now calling Loyalists, terrorists? And were supporting the Sinn Fien/IRA link with Corbyn? What a crazy country we live in. Just accept the result and get on with your life. This is like Brexit all over again. As long as Corbyn is in power, his supporters couldn't care if Scotland voted to leave the UK, NI rejoins Ireland, stop Brexit after 2 years of negotiations and all become vegans. Of course they aren't terrorists (American definition of terrorism ' "the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives" ') Edited by johnno42000 (09 Jun 2017 3.35pm) Attachment: 19059959_1526083754117358_1734467920954298072_n.jpg (61.03Kb)

Unless they swear allegiance to the queen, they can't can they. Never realised that was necessary but it appears even if you don't want to swear an oath, and pledge affirmation, then you still must pledge loyalty and allegiance to the Queen (her ancestors and successors). Of course there are people in Parliament who are republicans (not the Irish type), so I guess the degree to which people take it seriously is questionable. But you can bet there are a load of Republican Headbangers who'd take that s**t very seriously.

Its only politics after all.
