I'd agree upon the hypocrisy on whistleblowers.

Everything else about this situation is a complete load of nonsense.

Trump's liberty depends on being re-elected, when deep down I doubt he even truly wanted to be President to begin with. That's good enough for me.

I doubt Trump will be going to jail whatever happens.

Tensions between left and right in the US are already so polarised it wouldn't be wise.

Still, all that stuff is going to happen eventually anyway. So for me I'd be surprised but also interested due to the accelerationism.

You're likely right, but ask yourself this. Is it right that that haircut is loose in the wild?

Trump is fascinating....I'm currently listening to 'Fear' by Bob Woodward, who's an old school trustworthy journalist.

Whether he wins or loses, I'm looking forward to all the films......that's if we are all here in five or ten years,....the world is a pretty dangerous place and that's independent of Trump.

Fingers crossed.

Anyone else note the hypocrisy of Clinton interfering in the UK election after spending a lot of her time complaining about foreign interference in 2016.

I also remember that Obama interfered during the referendum....But of course, it's alright when they do it.

Trump tweeting an ambassador he fired while she is on the stand giving evidence...

Quite amazing.

I think there are reltively large number of people on the right in the US just looking for a legitimate excuse to start shooting. Removing Trump from office would be exactly that. I think the likelyhood though that this happens when Trump gets re-elected next year. The left are already escalating the violence and in a few months I see it's going to be very difficult to contain.

Yep, I would agree that regardless of who wins the election there are a pool of people violently opposed just ready for something to trigger them off.

There will definitely be isolated acts of violence.

However I don't see anything serious until the penny drops with republicans that they aren't seeing the presidency again after Trump.

You are already seeing with figures like Nicholas J. Fuentes movements on the republican right against their own party's attempt to accept social liberalism and appeal to the incoming demographics.

I don't think social liberalism with republicans is going to work over there and the moment the Democrats 'come for their guns' it's going off.

The Democrats will try underhand tactics...but ideologically it will amount to the same thing and once they have both houses it's going to happen.
..the sensitivity is so heightened we'll have to see what happens.

I think you need to look up the term slander.

Its not slander when you report facts. Trump's MO, and the MO of those around him is to lie, trick, con and manipulate his base and anyone else they can. Anyone gullible enough just goes right along with it. The second group are those who know he is a idiot and loser, but like his right wing agenda so bend over and take it all the same.

People who only watch Fox opinion people may just buy into it. I can tell you for a fact that Fox is the true fake news, not the likes of CNN and MSNBC. Fox is pure state propaganda in terms of their opinion people. The actual journalists like Shep Smith and Chris Wallace actually do their jobs and report on facts.

For the years since 2016 a lot of people have been musing about "why Trump".

Trumps gets his dues from CNN/MSNBC for the economy, I can tell you that for a fact. What you need to recognize, is that despite the strongest economy for many years, Trump's approval rating is historically poor.

It has not once crawled above 50. That is terrible. Any fan of Trump needs to ask another "why". Why is his approval rating so poor, with such a strong economy.

Here is another "why". Why did he get hammered in the mid terms in suburban areas and with college educated women? These people supported him in 2016.

College educated people are moving away from Trump, and the mid terms showed that. I think anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows why that is.

Lastly I would point you to what happened in 2016. Hillary f&cking Clinton won the popular vote. Possibly the least popular Dem candidate in 25 years and she still got more votes than your boy Dirty Donald.

Joe Biden, carrying weight in NH and PA, carrying union folks, dominating the african american vote, will do a lot better than Hillary Clinton.

You know who might do worse than 2016? See above paragraph re the midterms.

Trump is in trouble, and his keystone cops routine with Rudy G going off to the Ukraine to get dirt on Hunter Biden (then backtracking like a fool) tells you he is already bricking it at facing Biden.

Yeah, how's that working out by the way? He obviously isn't punching above his weight!!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg back in Hospital

[Link]

Every time this woman sneezes the Democrats panic. She is the darling of the left for her legal judgements but she may ruin her legacy by not standing down from the Supreme Court.

Apparently when Obama was President it was suggested to her that as she had a history of ill heath now would be a good time to retire so he could appoint a younger like minded judge. She cannot be sacked and so far has stubbornly refused to go.

The Democrats greatest fear is that something will happen to her whilst Trump is President, he has already appointed 2 Supreme Court judges which is quite a lot for a 1 term president.

If he gets a 3rd she may go from hero to zero with her followers.
