The middle class youth coming out of universities going into institutions don't care what you vote for. They will craft the institutions as an alternative power base regardless. This doesn't change until there is a spilt in the elites, which doesn't happen until economic collapse. It's incredible the speed of Ireland's change in a couple of decades from a generally very religious Christian country to a woke progressive mess.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

and Woke's profound bigotry & intolerance of Christianity....ban the Christmas Crib....cos its offensive to atheists & muslims. This is happening in loads of countries, including Scotland & Ireland. as an atheist myself , i still find this aggressive and obnoxious. Dunnow if there is a thread already on Joey Barton....but I quite enjoyed his tweets today on X (are they still called tweets?) The woke mob seem to be having a meltdown over his comments. I particularly liked his replies to Gary Neville and Jeremy vine

Advertising is god, and they think that women want to see women on TV. Personally, I'm happy to see women on TV but not talking about football. I'd say that the standards of punditry are appalling regardless of sex, but this is the problem when hiring ex players, usually with an IQ less than a cat, to talk about anything. Having women talking about men's football is unlikely to improve matters. As far as Barton and Neville are concerned. It's just two dickheads having handbags.
