Matt Woosnam reporting its a 50/50 split which makes sense. Money we wasn’t expecting and could go towards funding another signing

We appear to be splitting the fee of £22m, which seems fair enough, our player, but increased in value under Trab.

So £11m, not too shabby, our net spend is about £4m, 3 good players in.

LOL yeah right, I keep reading that on this forum and keep having a laugh, every player is not played to his strength at Palace, listening to some people, I still haven't found a player who was played to his strength.
Anyway as for the topic, get rid asap, take the money, and invest in a better player.
If he has a better career elsewhere, good for him. For what we've seen here he can go, it seems we get all money back plus some more, that's good for everyone.

Because Roy only knows how to play one way and will shoehorn those players into those positions.

The club have done well to get there money back on a player completely written off by the manager.

It suited Gayle, he did well on the pitch when fit and his ill fitting was more behind the scenes.

Turkish law is dodgy enough to allow a sale of something someone doesn't (quite) own and Palace have stayed very quiet over this whole affair.

Money we weren't expecting this soon? I am sure another good player will come onboard as a result of this, cross fingers

He's going to have a lot of pressure on his shoulders in having to effectively replace Werner, who scored an eye-watering 28 goals in 34 games in a proper league last season. Having said that, he'll also have quality around him so he should get plenty of chances. Good luck to him. We get our money back with interest and we say goodbye to one of the stranger transfers in our club's recent history.

WE can't afford his wages even if he agreed to accepting half of what he gets in Madrid. Anyway, he's going back to Spurs.

Talk of a 50/50 sharing of the fee seems very fair and reasonable, and probably beyond our wildest dreams when the two year loan agreement was arranged!!

Not only do we get more cash but we also get it a year earlier than budgeted for.

That is if the latest rumour is true
