Ultimately he will do way more harm than good.
I think that Boris has something up his sleeve for Sad Dick - time will tell.

With the Tory majority I'm sure changes can be made to mayor khants power and ability to alter whatever he wants.

Khan increased the GLA tax bill by nearly 10% this year much to the anger of the local councils who have to pass that onto to us. My local council leader was apoplectic of course politics comes into that but generally the taxpayer blames his local council and not Khan for the increase.

There is a strong case for changing how the London Mayor sets his budget I'm not sure how you would do it but it seems wrong that he just raises it and dumps the problem on the local councils. There has to be some sort of accountability and approval.

Maybe the London boroughs get to vote on what percentage increase he gets. Maybe the mayor has to layout a 5 year budget plan during the election so the voters know what they are getting and any deviation needs some sort of consent.

Anyway there must be better solutions.

I was going to change at George Floyd Station, but carried on to Taliban Towers instead. The Ho Chi Minh line was closed for maintenance - nothing changes does it?

You live in a nice part of London and that dick affects it. I like Beckenham and frequented the hostelries as a youth. It's a shame but bojo will have an ace up his sleeve for sure.

Yup what's the point of Bromley keeping it's tax burden down then Genghis slaps a 10% increase on it.

The next thing he'll do is extend the congestion charge zone out towards the M25.

The bloke's a curnt, but with the demographic of London now he was as much a shoe-in as Diane Abbott is in Hackney.

Yes, but you have to spend the entire journey apologising for everything.
