Wow all this thought and effort over nothing! Boy, I love having nothing to do!

I guess there's no excitement around your way at the moment then?

No Mapletree, all pretty boring in Kiev, maybe need to get on train to the East. Even the football teams ULTRAS have a truce and no trouble or burning flags etc, just be united for the country! So not much to report mate.

I've emailed the Premier League to complain about the leaking of Cardiff's letter to the BBC. This is clearly in breach of the same rules Cardiff are complaining about. I'm concerned about anyone labelling or suggesting our club has cheated somehow and tarnishing our name regardless of the outcome of the Premier League's investigation. We deserve at least an apology from whoever leaked the letter and I would urge all Palace fans to write to the Premier League and complain here:

I caught a glimpse of the Daily Murdoch this morning - huge headline with a picture of Pulis saying something like 'Im no spy'

What worries me is that bored / lazy / axe to grind / tabloid journalists make a non-story like this into something much bigger with their non-quotes from a 'source' and our reputation gets affected.

Some of the simplest and most easily fooled people 'read' tabloid newspapers (or look at the pictures, which take up most of each page) and therefore come away with the 'no smoke without fire' opinion.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

Pleased to hear that, genuinely.

Any lawyers on hear can tell us weather Cardiff have a case or not?

we finish four points ahead of Cardiff then it's game over for Cardiff not that it's game over now.

The whole sorry episode not only reflects badly on Cardiff, but also the tw@s of a BBC reporter and the BBC Sports Editor who decided it was a big news story.
I think Steve Parish hit the nail on the head when he said why give the issue the oxygen to sustain life?
Wouldn't it be great if the PL have the balls to fine Tan for bringing the game into disrepute?

I beg to differ

Great journalism. Got lots of attention for a story that was relatively BBC centred. Just because it's a load of old tosh doesn't mean the journalists haven't done their job. Since when did the truth become an important part of attracting viewers/readers/listeners. A bit of outrage certainly sells.

In terms of journalism in general, I agree. But the sports editor of the BBC had 'found' his own personal exclusive and decided to lead his own sports page with it. I expect the BBC to behave a little better than the Daily Mail, at least on its news pages.

If this story proves to be the farce it looks like and the Sports Editor, David Bond, is shown to have pushed his own agenda instead of managing his own news pages, then both he and the BBC should be brought to account.

The only two media outlets that are running with this are the BBC and The Sun and the Beeb is running with circumstantial cobblers and supposition most of the time...SSN who love a bit of salacious bollocks are hardly mentioning it whilst most papers have said their piece and gone

They already have...and no they haven't

People need to chill but the thing that annoys me is that this does take a little shine of what the team and Pulis have achieved

Nah, Palace fans don't do dull. Now we are heading for mid table obscurity we have to have something going on. It's a part of the lot of supporting the mighty Eagles. I am rather enjoying this, don't for one moment think it will jeopardise our survival and also like us being notorious. Because most people don't like Tan, if anything I reckon it may do us good.

But I am, of course, happy to be outraged at the way we have been treated.

I think it takes no shine off of anything we have achieved. Just because Tan has ruined his club, it shouldn't detract from our wonderful season.

It does kinda for me...we should be talking about our football club and what a team have achieved against huge odds and by far the biggest thread on PT is about a despotic Malaysian corporate imbecile

I guess, there always has to be something
going on with this bloody football club
