There will be a number of deals across the PL which will be concluded at the 11th hour. Seriously?! Thanks for the ‘inside’ knowledge!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle A few points on him staying. 1. He stayed at Palace on loan from Man Utd. That worked ok. 2. If he agrees with Parish as an adult when signing this new deal then I trust it’ll be a proper effort made on the pitch. Anything other than that damages his chances of moving, especially on £160k a week now instead of £130k per week. 3. I know he’s handed in a transfer request but but I think it’s more he wants to move on rather than he’s refusing point blank to play for us. You can say the two are linked, but not if 1 and 2 above happen. If things were different here he would stay, not that he dislikes Palace like certain people out there do. I’ll certainly cut Zaha some slack if he knuckles down. I’m not expecting badge kissing etc but I think it’s fairly obvious his team are a bunch of idiots and I’m not surprised Parish has had them over if you like, TWICE. Parish has all the experience and nous over a bunch of children who’d be in some dead end jobs without Wilf giving them a career. That’s been a big issue this summer. His Klingons.

There is stuff going on behind the scenes that none if us will ever know about. It is all guess work and speculation. If Wilf has handed in a transfer request then he done so with a club in mind. ( I dont think this club is Everton)
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I'll reserve judgement Rudi. He has got a lot of 'winning over' to do if he does stay, not just with the fans but possibly the rest of the team. 4 and a half hours to go!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle The old saying 'one man does not make a team'. Having seen the 3 hour video on last season that saying has to be buried.... Zaha's genius kept Palace up, also AWBs extra ability.

Seriously?! Thanks for the ‘inside’ knowledge! Point I was making is that we are not a club who has a monopoly of 'Lastminute.com' deals. Supporters of other clubs will have been expressing the view that their respective clubs have known about certain deficiencies in their squad for a while and questioning why they haven't yet signed players for those positions. Thanks for your 'Thanks'. Edited by Willo (08 Aug 2019 12.36pm)

He hasn't turned up for training apparently. Whether he did or hasn’t I think it’s best today he doesn’t, whether there’s intention to stay or not. He’s not ready physically or emotionally to play vs Everton and that was the case 1-2 weeks ago. Everton was always going to be a backs against the wall game because of our transfer window, and that’s a part of the wish to leave.
