Todays first download is a set by Manfred Manns Earth Band that was recorded in Schaumburg, Illinois in November 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on the Sunday Night Concert Show on WXRT-FM Radio in 1977. This features songs from the bands "Nightingales and Bombers" album - and is in great stereo. MMEB boots in good quality are very, VERY rare, I'd certainly never seen this one before - I was amazed.. MMEB are a fantastic band - with a great line up... and this is a wicked bootleg and has some unbelievable guitar work.... this rocks... almost as much as the other MMEB boot I found at the same time - which I will post tomorrow!. Todays second download is a set by Status Quo that was recorded at the Paris Theatre, London for the BBC. The quality is superb and the set is a top sounding show. They play a great set with a crackin version of "Roadhouse Blues" which lasts for 15 minutes and is fantastic - great stereo as well. This is great stuff... thoroughly recommended.
