Todays first download is a set by Emerson, Lake & Palmer that was recorded in 1971 at the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood, CA. For a bootleg thats over 40 years old this is in superb quality. I hadn't seen this boot anywhere before and early ELP boots in this quality are extremely rare - so I grabbed it. The show starts with an intro before the band go straight into "The Barbarian" and "Take A Pebble". They then play the title track from their album "Tarkus". The bootleg ends with the bands version of the classic B Bumble & The Stingers track "Nutrocker". If you like early ELP then this is a must have - thoroughly recommended....

Todays extra download is a set by The Smithereens that was recorded at the Record Plant, Sausalito, CA in 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a KFOG-FM radio broadcast of the show. I've only posted a couple of bootlegs by this band in the past - this is the first one thats acoustic though. A crackin' set - one for any fans of The Smithereens....
