There isn't the slightest sign of any end to the conflict, it is not looking good.

The news from RT mainly about the Russian fighter jet crash into buildings in the Krasnodar region, ignition failure apparently.

This type of thing is used by Putin and it makes it more popular, not less, it really is perverse.

Perhaps you should get Telegram, which isn't censored and look at both pro Ukrainian and Russian sources rather than just western ones. Perhaps then you'd be able to look at the videos yourself and decide for yourself.

Or put more accurately, isn't edited, and therefore full of fake news and fake videos.

German minister says it knows who sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines but to reveal it would be against the national interest.

Interesting....but wholly unsurprising from that government.

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

this will go well into next year and possibly beyond. The Ukrainians are rightly not interested in giving up any territory and will keep fighting all the time they are supplied arms from European and NA friends, and probably even if they aren't being supplied.

On the other hand the Russians aren't going to un-annex what they've illegally 'annexed'. If/when fighting does stop it gets even messier politically over borders and who is governing where.

With the Swedes not sharing intelligence either. They know it was the US/UK. And the implications are just beyond comprehension.

Russia striking Ukraine's' energy systems and they are only just holding on, working around the clock.

They need to close the air space but have no means.

It will be a very tough winter what can the west do.

Which is precisely why unedited stories and videos from unknown or unreliable sources cannot be regarded as evidence and should be treated with extreme caution until some collaborating evidence is available.

How do you know they know?

Or are you just assuming that's what they mean, because it fits your narrative?

All I know, is that I don't know.

Both sides need to be squeezed before they go around a table.

Russia running short of weapons and trained professional soldiers has squeezed them. Ukraine's infrastructure being damaged may squeeze them.

Perhaps this may provide the nudge needed for an internationally appointed mediator to begin a round of talks that can lead to a cease fire and then direct talks.
