I think that's all true, which is why it would be a political own goal if the Democrats were doing it for that reason. I believe the DA is doing it to make a statement that is important for the future. Just in case Trump, or another Trump, gets elected again. That no-one is above the law. I accept that throwing resources at it which means there are less to investigate other crimes will annoy some, and throws meat to the right, but defending an important principle is vital for a functioning Democracy. Which the USA barely has at the moment. How's that Biden administration going? Who could have predicted that it would be a disaster? And yet, the media are not running negative stories about Biden every day. How strange.

It's not the least strange. The Biden administration is doing just fine. Don't believe all the s***e that's thrown at it by the right-wing. They have managed to ensure the USA has recovered faster than most other economies after the pandemic and the impact of the energy crisis, whilst leading the west in supporting Ukraine. As Biden's primary role was to get rid of Trump and begin to rebuild the reputation of the USA he is doing more than was expected. He could walk on water, turn water into wine and raise the dead, and you would still think he is a disaster.

I don't think you can blame Biden for a potential banking crisis that could cause a worldwide recession. If that happens then the USA is better placed to recover faster than others.

I'm not blaming him. They're lucky to have such an astute and knowledgeable individual to guide them through this period.

His primary role ( sic ) was to get rid of Trump and rebuild the reputation of the US, what absolute nonsense. His role is to keep the country safe and develop the economy. His Kabul debacle shows on defence he is just dumb. His economic policies will be judged after his term ends.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
