Nothing at all on SSN in two hours - no visits to the ground. Everton reporter claims a Wilf deal could still be on. SSN just said Palace are waiting for news on their increased offer for Chalov (which we already knew) - but "time is running out". Is that because he would have to get here from Moscow for a medical - and needs a visa too? Oh, and no new right back!

One suspects their new stadium will be completed before any work is started on our new stand. They are a bigger club - bigger fanbase, more resources, established in the PL etc etc. Ain't that the truth!
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Right, do we have a local volunteer to get down to CC Road and see what is going on this morning? Is Wilf at training? Actually, I'm not sure that tells us that much because given the speculation he might not be at training anyway. He could of course be off site having his bottom firmly thrashed by SP's dominatrix for being such a naughty boy!

I think Wilf will still be a palace player by the end of the window. Of course there have been rumours of us looking at other wingers Intriguingly there are also stories about Everton looking at the same wingers as we are which will muddy the waters nicely

Its oh so quiet More than quiet. The guy on the 5-Live sports news at 10 this morning listed the deals that might happen today - no mention at all of Palace/Everton/Zaha. Perhaps that's just because the BBC is honest and doesn't make up stories.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I've heard Zaha turned up for training today and left 15 minutes later. Either saying goodbye or his gone on strike. Michael Bridge heading to Beckehnam as we speak.

I hope so Willo. Bit late though isn't it? There will be a number of deals across the PL which will be concluded at the 11th hour.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle So come Saturday, if I turn up at Selhurst to find Wilf facing us I can honestly say it will probably go down as the most depressing experience in all my years of following us. That said, if we won it would go a long way to erasing it.
