An absolute embarrassment and a shambles.

It was a perfectly justified yellow card. Hmmmm.... so he 'fouled' the opposition player by standing still? ..yet several Slovak players have hacked down one of ours and we never even got a free kick.

Trippier gave him a hospital pass and MG made sure he took the Slovakian out. I'm not blaming him for taking one for the team and no-one on the commentary team questioned the awarding of the yellow. Subsequent yellows or non-yellows are a pertinent discussion point, but irrelevant to the decision made at the time.

Trippier off at last. If England didn't replace him, we wouldn't be any worse off.

12 mins to go and England still clueless. Why did Southgate take Eze and Wharton to Germany if he had no intention of playing them - is he really that stubborn.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
