Palace had agreed a deal with Downes for £7.5m & medical was booked in for Friday then today West Ham came in & offered a deal totalling £12m it now looks like he is off there.

Whilst we thought we had that deal wrapped Southampton swooped in for Aribo we may now try to hijack that deal if we have indeed missed out on Downes.

MGW I’m hearing is total rubbish.

In relation to Olise I’m told he does not have a release clause.

I don’t believe any of the rumours pal…especially the rubbish that comes from Dazza, that anyone on here could have predicted as if being “in the know” if only they had followed the bs rumours we are linked with daily on newsnow.

I’m sure like a lot of us, I have been following the different reports available online via various news outlets this transfer window. Much like previous windows, we all tend to share news as we read it online…but the vast majority don’t share this as gospel and make predictions based on it. For what’s it’s worth, if we truly thought Downes was the answer, we’d have signed him already. I’m quite sure any player in the region of our financial reach, we’d have pushed to sign. I’m sure there are plenty of players in that 8-12m region that we know are equally as good, so why not find the value. West Ham always over pay…let’s see where that gets them in the end.

I see no problem in sharing those articles, but you claim it as your own and then try to add weight with predictions such as “to be confirmed this week”.

We’ve been linked with Doucoure for months and there has been more detail on that transfer from the the French outlets than you. Such as part of the fee we will pay, needs to go to the African academy he came from, hence the delay.

Personally I'd be happy with Doucoure, full back cover and a striker.

Gibbs-White would be a very exciting addition, but Dazza reckons no mileage in rumour which is a shame.

Those that go along with this, asking for updates and thanking for the ‘inside info’ are either gullible or do not frequent Twitter or as you say newsnow. There has never been any inside info provided that wasn’t already in the public domain. Adding ‘done deal, 5 year contract’ as credence fools no one. Except those mentioned above obviously.
