So as I keep saying Doucoure deal done no need to panic on this. Palace had agreed a deal with Downes for £7.5m & medical was booked in for Friday then today West Ham came in & offered a deal totalling £12m it now looks like he is off there. Whilst we thought we had that deal wrapped Southampton swooped in for Aribo we may now try to hijack that deal if we have indeed missed out on Downes. MGW I’m hearing is total rubbish. In relation to Olise I’m told he does not have a release clause. All off what I have said has been correct to date I can’t help if clubs then hijack these deals at the last minute. We will see what the next few days bring. Flounce coming, likely to be completed in the next few days..
Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

You seem a bit naive in how transfers work, believe nothing until its announced by the club. If you choose to believe rumours, then you cant get upset, if thats all they are. I don’t believe any of the rumours pal…especially the rubbish that comes from Dazza, that anyone on here could have predicted as if being “in the know” if only they had followed the bs rumours we are linked with daily on newsnow. I’m sure like a lot of us, I have been following the different reports available online via various news outlets this transfer window. Much like previous windows, we all tend to share news as we read it online…but the vast majority don’t share this as gospel and make predictions based on it. We have in the past shared links to the article. I don’t have a problem with anyone at all on a emotional level. I just find it hard to comprehend certain characteristics that I find morally lacking such as liars. So it’s not a case of me being naive, it’s worst than that, I just can’t help but call out bs when I read it. For what’s it’s worth, if we truly thought Downes was the answer, we’d have signed him already. I’m quite sure any player in the region of our financial reach, we’d have pushed to sign. I’m sure there are plenty of players in that 8-12m region that we know are equally as good, so why not find the value. West Ham always over pay…let’s see where that gets them in the end.

Can I ask you what rubbish I have come out with? Ok so it looks like we have been gazumped by West Ham but we had agreed a fee & medical booked. West Ham then offered more & offered more in wages he too is a West Ham fan so hence accepted their offer. Everything I have said has pretty much happened ok so I said it was done & was going to be announced on Friday & it was until the 11th hour. All I am doing is sharing what I’m told I have never said I’m ITK I just share what I get told. But hey ho you can criticise & slag me off all you like. Edited by dazza (07 Jul 2022 12.15am)

I’m yet to see a single prediction come true that I didn’t already read about. That’s my main point. Follow NewsNow and you will see through Dazza very quickly. It’s all second hand news from click bait sites. I see no problem in sharing those articles, but you claim it as your own and then try to add weight with predictions such as “to be confirmed this week”. We’ve been linked with Doucoure for months and there has been more detail on that transfer from the the French outlets than you. Such as part of the fee we will pay, needs to go to the African academy he came from, hence the delay.

Personally I'd be happy with Doucoure, full back cover and a striker.

If we don't then I think we'll probably need another midfielder and CB cover. That said, Gibbs-White would be a very exciting addition, but Dazza reckons no mileage in rumour which is a shame. Striker is a funny one, as I haven't seen us linked with anyone that's particularly a step-up on our current clutch...who aren't awesome. To get someone that's got a high chance of being better than we already have, it seems to me we'd be looking at 40m+, which we can't afford. Anything in our price range would be another hopeful punt like Mateta and Edouard.

But even if not, I guess for me, we could potentially afford the $40m striker if we weren't (supposedly) splashing millions on a raft of superfluous centre midfielders.

Those that go along with this, asking for updates and thanking for the ‘inside info’ are either gullible or do not frequent Twitter or as you say newsnow. There has never been any inside info provided that wasn’t already in the public domain. Adding ‘done deal, 5 year contract’ as credence fools no one. Except those mentioned above obviously.

As you say, I don't frequent Twitter or Newsnow, nor can I be arsed to do so. If Dazza keep abreast of these and relays the most recent information on here, that's good enough for me. I couldn't give a monkeys how it's framed up and I'm not sure why people get so exorcised about whether or not Dazza has a contact that's slightly closer to the inner circle than any of us. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. The difference in the recency and accuracy of information between the two would be marginal anyway, unless that source is Dougie, PV, or one of the Board...which it clearly wouldn't be.
