You're very quiet willo. Are you still trying to get your head round the fact the police told lies about us and you fell for it... Not nice is it?

There was incorrect information from West Sussex Police and this is deeply embarrassing for them. One suspects they will deal with this internally.

But there were other issues which were raised, like numerous ticketless fans, pyrotechnics, flares etc etc so one shouldn't assume that our fans were totally blameless on the night.

This has been reported - If it is proved otherwise then that is another matter. But if you wish to discount this it is a matter for yourself.

Oh by the way probably some believe that the pyrotechnics and bangs were down to faulty electronic equipment at the AMEX and our fans were blameless.

I think those who did accepted the information in good faith.

As was the knuckledusters and knives.

Does anyone actually know the truth? Only the people who got through the open door I suppose.

Has there been any evidence of anything yet?

Like the police showing the items they claim to have found? Or CCTV footage of people storming into the ground?

Optimistic as ever

There is video of people rushing in through the open door, but who is to say they didn't have tickets, maybe, as stated before they had tickets but where not being allowed in through the turnstiles?

I think you are being very generous to BHA.
BHA decided to reduce the Palace allocation by a third, despite there being few problems at previous games between us.
Someone from BHA decided to close the turnstiles which caused the rush through the gates
Someone from BHA decided not to delay the kick-off despite the police forcing Palace fans to arrive late.
Someone from BHA provided stewards that weren't fit for purpose.
Someone from BHA decided not to let more Palace fans in, despite them having valid tickets.

Now, BHA blame the police for some of these decisions but the police have stated that it wasn't up to them.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I thought that was opened by a BHA steward? Tbh when I watched it, it barely looked like they were rushing and no one was really stopping them coming in.
