Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

True, but I was responding to the requirement for a change of management when we're in a relegation position. In your 1st paragraph, yes. I was responding to your last sentence where you said if they do well we do t want them leaving. Pulis and Sam have left at the end of the season. Target achieved, not relegated and bonus on its way.

Mick McCarthy has a history of doing well on a small budget and staying long term at various clubs. Currently working at Ipswich, he knows the English game better than most. Jeepers creepers..

Seemed his career dwindled at city after the limelight frazzled his day to day with the players and he got disconnected. Balotelli and Dzeko never came off for him and I think he brought in Jovetic too but didn't manage to integrate him in spite of sharing italian. I reckon it's harder to achieve delusion in Palace's limelight, in spite of Pardew's example. Jovetic was signed by Pellegrini.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Vote For Your Next Manager' by kenbarr Always wary of managers who have been at big teams. It means they have had big budgets and there is always the possibility they look good because of the quality of players in their squads rather than their own ability. Players who work with crap and turn them into something are the ones to go for. All in my humble opinion of course, but Wagner was my choice.
