That's how it works at Palace, when someone is out of the team for a while, they suddenly become the saviour.

Hennesey is not the solution, when Steveeee produces a moment of quality like below, that will be the time to drop him. Have people forgotten about Aston Villa and the other numerous f*** ups.

Steve will come good and if not then we have a competent back up in Hennesey.

Disagree. I dont think WH is worse than SM in ,fact having played at a higher level for longer probably gives him the edge. As i said before i wish we had got Begovic or Krull who are miles ahead of any one we have had since Nigel Martyn. Just think some people have got a bit carried away with the steeve thing a bit like the jonniesta crap. Cult heroes are not always a good thing.

After watching yesterday, Can somebody remind Palace First XI that there are at least 90 minutes in a game with the most naive defending shown yesterday for both Burnley goals conceded coupled with Punch's poor distribution that enabled opportunities that should never have been allowed at Premiership level.

Brilliant though to see Wickham score his first goal with his first kick yesterday. Benteke's confidence with penalty-taking seems back on track as well.

Steve's error for second goal yesterday was equally as bad as that error, which was from a close range header in greasy condition's and looks bad because he got his hands to it. Didn't Steve have two close range headers straight at him last week , jumped over one and couldn't push the other over the bar?
Harsh criticism I know but let's get a bit of
balance.
Do people forget the great form Hennessey was in before the Villa drop, which contributed to us rising to sixth place in table?

Yesterday the second goal was fundamentally bad goalkeeping, the first he could have got down quicker , as he could of with other goals this season , Bournemouth for one.

Listen you self-righteous little prick,my first Palace game was with my late father in 1977.For the next 10 years we then either had season tickets or complimentary tickets from the 4 years I was part of the youth squad and my father helped Peter Prentice at the Mitcham training Ground.I stopped going on Saturdays because I played at a good standard but we went to all midweek games and a few when I was injured.I live in the Midlands now but still go when I'm not working despite the day out costing well over £100 and when I do I drink in the Victory should you want to take offence. Now do fvck off your boring.

I'm old enough to remember when we first Pardew first tipped up as a player, and he was as hit and miss as a player as he is as a manger. I know newcastle have been through the s***, but they now have Rafa, what I wouldnt give to have someone like that at Palace, but I am sure somne of the experts on here will argue that AP is better than Rafa Benitez.

And you're right you just can't do logical with these people.

I'm old enough to have played in the same team as Pardew and in fact did at Whyteleafe in the early 80's does that make me smug again or just well educated on the subject matter despite your allegations?

If we had played the game as a normal away game we would have soaked it up and hit them on the break and won the game comfortably

Mandanda has played at a high level for just as long and I'm not quite sure where you got the cult hero thing from? Hennesey had the opportunity to cement a first team spot but failed, Mandanda should be given the same opportunity.

Too ignorant to see the point which is staring you in the face, you are so aggressive towards people that disagree with you despite the FACT that people can be just as educated as you on football. You don't like AP and that makes you unable to see anything else and apparently if we disagree with you we are know nothing dickheads.I think he has got a couple of things wrong, but I can see the wood for the trees and the way we pass the ball now is as good as I have ever seen a Palace team play that way.Yes the results are not going our way but I am sure they will come if the players keep believing in what AP is trying to do. It is clear that you lot now have an agenda, you disappear off the forum when we play well and get results and then infest it when we lose blaming him for everything and ignoring players individual mistakes that he just cant be held accountable for. When we do well its nothing to do with him but when things go wrong it is only down to him.Blinkered by an agenda and ignorant to any positives that we are showing and all because you think he is not good enough for our us a mid-table PL club. When I see the names banded about of who you lot would replace him with it just shows a spectacular lack of understanding of football and its not as if there are enough clues to what can happen when you are impatient in this business.Like ive said I pity all of you,to watch a game like that and see the spirit in which we lost as well as the way we are starting to dominate possession of the football but have nothing to say but negative aggressive pissy complaints about sacking the manager is beyond sad.You are all so aggressive about it now because deep down you don't want him to succeed, its got to the stage where I firmly believe you have joined the dark side and will refuse to enjoy anything good that happens while he is in charge.
