HE is injured and wants to earn more - two good reasons not to buy him I would have thought!

I find it odd that he'd be reluctant to come to a club on the same points as West Ham who have only one fit striker and who he would undoubtedly play regularly for (barring injury)...unless he wants to move away from England. If he is looking for a bigger club then let's move on as he is clearly delusional. Stories abound that he does not want to come to Palace. The stories might be true or most likely they are not. However, the point is he's currently on the WH sick list and as such, he's of no use to us.

He sums up all that is wrong with ‘modern football’ bang average player who feels undervalued at WH on 30k a week, despite being the 4th choice forward and a semi permanent sick note. Steer well clear and leave him in the WH pay roll at a million plus a year.

Hopefully we have moved on from the days of Aruna Dindane.

Seems like our budget for a striker may be in the region of £10m, assuming we are also bidding for Amadou? Surely we can do better than this tho?

Isn't Diafra Sakho a free agent in the summer? He's not even good. He's 6 months away from a free transfer. If he wasn't in his last 6 months, what would he cost? 20 million? Sakho's entire value should be about 2 million as far as he's shown in the last 5 years in Ligue 2 and a little in the PL. Edited by mattteo (28 Jan 2018 1.29pm)
