Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Wickham is not the sicknote everyone is making him out to be and certainly not a bad player to start up front for you. We will definitely have 1 or 2 strikers before the window closes.

Wickham played 15 league games for us last season - 6 of those as sub according to the stats I looked at which means he was out (or possibly not picked of course) for 61% of his first season with us.

He is only 23 and has already played 187 league games: he played 21 league games in 2015-2016; 36 times in 2014-2015; and 31 times (including his loan spells) in 2013-2014. 88 league games in three seasons. He was a bit of a sicknote last year, but the claim that he was a sicknote at Sunderland doesn't bear out given the number of times he played and his age. n.b. Bolaise only played 26 league games last year, and 89 times in the last three seasons. Is he a sick note too?
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |
