It's more likely that local residents, rather than the planning department, will have objections, and it'll be for the council to decide what is reasonable or not.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave In Parish's interview on HOL Radio he said the keen-eyed may spot the submission of an application, but he didn't give any details and the use of "keen-eyed" doesn't suggest any sort of major announcement or development. I suspect that they're going to have to deal with the accommodation of 100 disabled supporters as a priority, and anything else will be on the back-burner.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

They've managed to accommodate at least 10,000 mentally disabled supporters since we got promoted. What's the problem?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave The Stadium is improving slowly with the pitch showing the effects of the high quality work that has been done. I have been sampling the Main Stand for Cup Matches, and found that it compares both well (toilets and pre match & half time ambiance) and badly (space between next row of seats) with the Holmesdale Upper. The Stadium needs to welcome all, whether disabled or not. I await developments. COYP

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Look what Chelsea and Tottenham have got going up. So where there is money and a will there is a way. Maybe we should wait now until we are more established and probably sold to a Chinese consortium with billions wanting to redevelop the old Crystal Palace and the park and build a 50,000 new stadium. .........erm haven't we been here before? Sounds to me like precious little is going down other than maybe us.
