I am of course delighted with the point.A pathetic first half performance but credit to the lads for their response in the second period.Well done !

And credit to the manager for changing it around wouldn't you say?

Just need to say that during this game (and any ref in any other game!) refs give free kicks for absolutely nothing (players faking it etc)If it wasn't for Palace I'd hate football.

We got away with that big time.

We simply cannot afford to play so deep and simply turn the ball over to the opposition to come at us wave after wave - in the second half Swansea tired and got ragged, we also held a higher midfield line which squeezed them a bit - and we got a dodgy decision go our way at last !!!!

Even when we had more of the ball our delivery at times was shocking.

Oh and if Yannick Bolassie could cross a ball he would be worth 15m - played really well today and carried a threat and was our only real outlet until GM came on

On the plus side we are now 6 clear of Cardiff and 5 clear of Fulham...If Thomas had shot instead of dived like a w@nker we might also be 4 clear of WBA..

We need to be better against Southampton next week that's for sure -

Is Pulis alright again now?

No, negative, beyond belief and 10 years behind the times.
Halfway through next season watching this s*** you will be slitting your wrists.
On a lighter note, Murray has as many goals as Jerome now...

The tactics Pulis was trying to imply at the start of the game were no different then the ones in the second half. The players weren't up to it first half and Pulis geed them up. The tactics were right first half was bad second half was great WELL DONE PULIS

No they weren't.
In the second half we played higher up the field and took the game to them and actually trusted our defenders and keeper to do their job without the help of a negative five man midfield. Against City, Chelsea and Arsenal we gave them trouble but only when we eventually went behind. We have to allow our attackers to attack and trust our defence.

I agree with that - exactly what we did - the midfield pushed up 5 yards and lo and behold we got more ball and looked far better

There is a balance to strike for us, I think we all appreciate that, but playing 3 defensive midfield players sitting back, with two wingers tracking back just takes that balance too far - we are having to counter attack from our own penalty area half the time and end up just losing possession

Against Southampton, Murray, Chamakh (if fit), Bolasie and Ince should all start

Sorry, not Bolasie on that performance, he just loses the ball every-time he gets it.

WHAT! Bolasie tore them apart second half. He did what he's supposed to do, beat his fullback and hit in crosses, some good some bad, like all wingers. If only he could shoot.
If like Pulis you want to play him as a secondary fullback then obviously he will be crap.

Except the crosses were... all bad.

Really the one that set up FFS for his blocked shot and the one where that w***er decided to dive were both Bolasie crosses.

Surely he was only trying to undo the total balls up he had set up to begin with?

You can look at this way, however I would like to include Pulis as part of the second half response.

A great point after a crap 1st half, but stop showing so much respect to these sides.
The 2nd half we pushed up and had them on the backfoot, and created much more chances, nice to see ffs score as well.

p.s, was not impressed with dive by J.T not needed shameful.

Seems to think it wasn't a penalty, it was quite clearly a penalty, Garry.
