Palace Old Geezer Midhurst 21 Oct 21 1.29pm | |

I was going to open a new thread, but then I found this one started by Penge Eagle in 2004. It ran for 10 years before running out of steam in 2014. No wonder it has Gold status. Anyway, I've noticed some new and strange Usernames recently so thought it would be fun to find out their origins. Even some of you who explained yours before might want to go again as many of them are amusing. As for mine, it came about during the final years of my working life when a handyman working outside came in and asked if 'the old geezer who owns that car could move it' because he wanted to carry out some work where it was parked. From then on it became my nickname in the office. The Palace prefix should be obvious. So, what the heck made you choose your username?
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
