Has anyone ever broken into a Police Station, set a Fire Station alight, sent telegrams to Microsoft or pictures of their underground dogfighting club to the RSPCA in seeking employment? Give it up Wisbech. It's quite incredible isn't it. Not surprising though given who he is.....It's like putting someone who likes visiting gay nudist beaches in charge of the boy scouts. Not a guarantee that it'll go pear shaped but bloody stupid all the same. Edited by Stirlingsays (12 Dec 2023 2.18pm)

Perhaps you are fooling yourself here with traditional left wing stereotypes. I can't stand Murdoch or his sh1tty papers, yet I can't stand the BBC because it pushes social liberalism and anti white propaganda. This is not mutually exclusive. And perhaps you are fooling yourself that you are the norm rather than the exception.

? This is like saying thinking that homosexuals aren't disproportionally attracted to musicals. It’s not. The accusation was that these media figures are in these positions because they have a personal axe to grind, presumably against the snowflake right, and that they are there with the intention ‘to poison minds’ (lol). If you were arguing that homosexuals are disproportionately represented in musicals because they want to make everyone else like them, then it would be the same, and we’d all agree that’s ridiculous.

And perhaps you are fooling yourself that you are the norm rather than the exception. I never read newspapers. Tabloids are for fish and chips. The idea that a Guardian reading type like you can criticise anyone for reading anything is amusing in itself. The leftist drivel that the likes of the aforementioned, The (chuckle) Independent or Mirror print is an embarrassment to serious journalism.

Where did I say that? There is a predominance of Left wing views in the media in general. Or are you denying that?

Give it up Wisbech. How many? Who knows, but investigators reveal some. Being caught doing it in your youth can be the best cure possible. It can also provide useful experience. Remember that poachers make the best gamekeepers. What needs to be given up is this relentless search for mud to sling at the BBC. Nothing that this lady did in her past has the slightest impact on the validity of what she reveals today. To amplify it in the way that some want to is just nonsensical character assassination.

Yeah of course you don’t - you just parrot every single talking point by pure coincidence. It’s completely by chance that you’re utterly obsessed with immigration. Of course I have my own biases - only an idiot would think they’re not influenced by the media they consume. One day there will be a proper study into the impact Murdoch and the wider tabloid press has had on your generation - it won’t happen yet because people are far too sensitive to acknowledge that reality, but hopefully one day.

If the BBC licence fee collapses like the Poll Tax it will be those people who do for it not the like of myself and Stirlingsays. As for the anti BBC agenda sure I admit it because I am forced to pay for something I don't use. You don't see me banging on about the Guardian and the Mirror each to his own.
Nor should you. The BBC cannot be compared to any commercial enterprise and to do so is the constant error made by its detractors.

They won a democratic vote on Brexit and changed the Red wall to Blue. They are more than noisy. They represent the real British, not the naive students, the London liberal bubble or the block vote minorities. They conned people who won’t be conned again. The idea that they are the “real” British is as offensive as it is totally wrong. If it were true then I would be ashamed to be British and I am not. The ideals and attitudes held by the devoted Brexiteers is not typical of us. It is a sizeable and noisy minority whose effect on others has now declined substantially. You are fooling each other by confirming your biases in places like this but out in the real world. It just ain’t so.
