Joining Everton doesn't get Wilf Champions League etc, and doesn't make sense. He may get to be a regular starter, but who says The Toffees will get in to the top 5 places.
Use Wilf(bearing in mind he may not have encouraged all this talk) to get us into the middle of the season in a good position, and then maybe a January transfer), if that's what Wilf would accept. He is under contract and on great wages, so where is the urgency, it just makes todays contracts worthless to the club, and the greed of earning several million a year, which in my opinion is obscene.
Keeping my fingers crossed today waiting for the window to shut with Wilf still with us, and then maybe get some answers from SP, about CPFC future.

Don’t fool yourself Zaha knew nothing about all this and his ‘bro’ trying to be clever in the press. Zaha also started it off with the champion league stuff, although that doesn’t bother me. Wilf and his team are the kind of simple people that think everyone else is stupid.

After his conduct I hope he has poor form, the spurs of Merseyside turn on him and he gets lonely up there apart from his leaches he thinks are loyal to him for the right reasons. Footballers are thick, and here’s more proof. He’s not my kind of person anyway. On the pitch, great. As a human? I wouldn’t want to meet him.

Of all the players I’ve met he has never been that friendly, a few seasons ago my step son (spurs fan) wrote to Harry Kane and received a letter and signed photo. My son wrote to Wilf and received nothing. He went down in my estimations then, Harry Kane was a much bigger star and still my step son received a personal reply. I did from Gareth Southgate when I was a kid, I have a lot of respect for people that have time for those who idolise/ look up to them Jules was by far the best.
Wilfried seems to spend more time posing with the riches he has acquired on instagram than interacting with fans and seems to lack humility. I will be gutted if we lose him a very talented possibility the most talented footballer I have seen live. That said I thought we would lose a bit of our identity if we sold Wilf, now I’m starting to feel like he’s some one that I as a fan can’t relate to and he has lost his identity. He ain’t South London and proud anymore more a mercenary.

I think he probably likes to hang onto the ball too much for most of the elite teams but may be considered as an impact squad player.

Also think they're probably put off by his general surliness and the pantomime he's surrounded himself with.

He played for Solskjaer at Cardiff and I remember him being subbed off against us in the Freedman / spygate game despite being their biggest threat.

He's worth £100m to us but not to a Champions League team so a pretender like Everton who might hope he can make the difference are probably about as good as he can realistically expect.

Agree with this. Time to cash in now and build a future without him. Relied on him for far too long. Shows just how highly rated he is outside selhurst Park that the only suitors are Everton, who are not much better than us.

They will be this season. They are going places and with their cash about time. But I agree with you. WZ wants out. His time is done. With Wilf Everton should be top 6 or 7.
£70m and Tosun and we are there.

I just hope Wilf doesn't end up playing for Everton on Saturday - especially since we've already sold the one defender who could stop him. Now he's put in a transfer request, it could happen, I suppose.

Just curious, but does anyone know if Asset-Stripping of a Premier League football club is illegal?

Depressed.

Everton forums happy that " on the forums Palace fans have turned against Zaha " so he likely won't play on Saturday whatever the situation.

Personally, I think the anti Zaha talk on here is pointless and band wagon jumping.

We have no ideas what is actually going on or who promised what to who.

End of the day, it's all about the money.

It's obviously not playing out very well for any party to be honest. But I'd say 24hrs before the end of the window is not the time to 'cash in'. Unless we have some absolute stonewall replacements lined up i.e Chalov and Sarr (who strangely has been delaying his move to Watford until the last day).

If not we keep him. A suppossed unhappy Wilf for a week or two is still more valuable to us footballing wise than just money in the bank.

And still nearly every story involving this saga has been a 'SkySports understands/sources' which we all know is usually bulls***.

What I think will happen is he stays. Gets rid of his agent. Makes first appearance of the season against Sheff United. Scores the winner. Puts one finger on his lip shh. Has a good season. Moves to Chelsea next year and gets champions league football...He rejoins us on loan 2 years later

Club has put pictures of him in training yesterday and he looks fine. Can't see him kicking off if he stays, and we don't have time to replace him. If we could get Watkins and Walcott on loan then perhaps.

"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017.

People bad mouthing our best ever player are the ones showing disrespect. I hope he stays, if he doesn’t I will wish him the best. He has given us far more than any other player we have had, pretty much single handedly keeping us up for the last 5 years at times.
