No of course I don't understand that, I'm deluded remember. It's the level and length of Austerity that is damaging, this is "basic economics". I'd argue you've got your head buried in the sand if you can't see the chronic underfunding of our public services. Do you not see the damage that the crisis of our Schools and NHS will have on the economy? Besides the fact that it's a bit mean as well. What I see is trying to fund these services at a level that is sustainable. Throwing borrowed monet at things didn't work under Labour last time and it won't in the future. The NHS in particular needs to be more accountable for what it spends and needs to be realistic about what it can do.

I think you can do better, put yer art into it a bit more.

It's a good job they were proposing to fund it through tax increases then wasn't it. If not they'd only be adding to the current Tory policy of borrowing more than all labour governments put together. Quite an achievement in fairness when you include the Blair era in that.

Better tell the whole of the private sector that then. It is appropriate to fund the NHS to the level where it can achieve its SLAs. Otherwise it's simply bad management. For information, here is a list (in order) of countries that spend more per capita than the UK: USA (136% more)

I don't think many people in the electorate make informed choices. It's just that voting for Corbyn on the basis that he is 'a nice man' or 'in touch with the people' or creating 'a new brand of politics' is so staggeringly misguided and naive. Corbyn has experience and judgement simply the best man for the job IMO. In a minority or very close situation he would be ideal as as man who can sit down with people of a different persuasion.

So you complain about borrowing on the one hand and cuts on the other? A bit of a confusing attitude.

If only 1% knock on doors, that's still a lot of activists and campaigners. Probably helped to scupper May. I was laughed at when I said rank and file campaigners will make a difference. More lies by the limp wristed lefties
