This is an amusing post given that the vast majority of the media is left/liberal.

Only those on the hard right think that! You try asking someone genuinely on the left what they think about the media and their answer would be as extreme as yours, but directly the opposite. By no means are the Mail, Express, Sun or Telegraph "left/liberal". The Guardian is, and in some ways so is the Mirror, but not always. Despite the widespread scepticism here the BBC is neutral, as are all the public broadcasters. So your complaints are the biased wailing of those who don't believe they are getting a fair deal. Make better arguments and you will.

Any 'propaganda' is a reaction to the undermining of Western society, values and culture by the rapid flow of migrants that no one asked for.

The propaganda is coming from those who seek to exploit your anger and use it to their own benefit. They are feeding in fake narratives designed to reinforce your prejudices. It's clearly working given the way you, and others here, repeat them as fact.

Unlike you, some people can see that the future will not be how they would want it.

It isn't though a question of what we might want the future to be but what it is likely to be and how we can shape it to be better.

You think that action needs to be taken to silence the critics of 'globalisation' simply because you support it.

I support globalisation primarily because of it's inevitability. There is no point in fighting pointless battles than are already lost. Much better to work with the flow and direct it towards a satisfactory outcome than struggle against it knowing you will be overwhelmed. I don't want to silence critics at all. Much better that they voice their opinions so that they can be countered with rational argument.

Those who wish to 'destroy western democracy' are the very same people that you support.

That's simply untrue. There are people both inside and outside our democracies who would profit from their destruction. It;s to them our eyes need to be focused.

Joe Biden has just said that he met with survivors of the Parkland shooting 'when I was Vice President'.

The Parkland shooting happened more than a year after Joe Biden left office.

Lets not forget that there were certain posters on this very thread who were practically posting every day....Most of whom have now mysteriously disappeared.....who were constantly posting about Russian collusion and that the Mueller Report was going to destroy Trump and boot him out of the White house.

This very thread is partly about these people and how they allow wish fulfillment and idealism to interfere with reason. Thankfully in this case their delusions were able to be exposured within the time frame of the thread.

If only we had the satisfaction of that in other situations.

Yeah imagine someone just making stuff up to suit their agenda. Would never catch Donald doing that.

My guess would be that Trump hasn't either. Spinning what it said so that his "base" continue with their delusions doesn't alter what it actually said. Putting a lackey into the DoJ to do your bidding, lie on your behalf and limit the ability of Mueller to fully explain doesn't either. What it does do is open up many questions about the way the US system is being corrupted.

That being the POTUS wraps a protective screen around even as transparent wrong-un as Trump doesn't stop time. In time he won't be the POTUS and in time that screen won't protect him. If we have to wait until then for justice to be done then there are two important issues.

The first is to make sure the damage he can do is restrained by Congress.

The second is to make sure the next POTUS is not someone with any desire to pardon him.

There is a tsunami of water waiting to go under the bridge in the coming years. Much of it held in a reservoir in New York.

This thread ought to be renamed to:-

Bias for Trump!

With the overwhelming opinion of British people not approving of him (only 21% do) the real question is why on this site so many do. Why is this site biased towards Trump?

As this report indicates he does enjoy support among "right wing populist parties" but why is this site so full of their supporters?

What does it say about the members of our forum and maybe about football supporters in general?

Has it just become one of those places such people gather to confirm their own biases?

Some people need to be reminded that there are multiple other forums that are decidedly pro leftist in tone which are full of anti Trump rhetoric.

Hol is the least leftist in tone....so what.

The fact that this forum contains some people who don't sing that same 'orange man bad' tune is nothing to rally against. People can pick where to post. Funny how those who claim to love diversity often also criticise it.

Some people need to be reminded to address the point and not try to avoid it.

It was this forum I was discussing and not any other.

I directly referred to this forum in two of the three sections.

Jeepers, the level of pin dancing and attempted deflections is something else.
