It will do what it tells it to do. Perhaps wheels within wheels? Germany had its bollocks cut out in 1945 and was perhaps starting to show signs of growing a pair again but the US has curtailed that new attempt at it regaining a spine. With the US not even making much effort to pretend it was not involved. Barley even trying. And this is not even NATO. It is pure Washington Geo-Politics no doubt with Westminster playing along (and possibly even a RN operation to scupper this pipe-line). This war might splutter on for a few more months but it's over. Why would the US need to fund it anymore? The Donbass? LOL.

Well, someone better tell old Liz Truss then because she's just pledged more undying loyalty to Zelensky.....apparently we are sticking to the course until we beat Putin.

Meanwhile US still needs to guarantee Ukraine can pay back what it owes them. I see it a little different our best hope of an off ramp lies ruined at the bottom of the ocean. Russia has called for a meeting with the UN security council over the NS1 & 2
The mountains are calling & I must go. |

The battlefield in Ukraine ebbs and flows, Ukraine making a little more progress in the east but most of the battleline is stable with Russia pushing in a couple of areas as well. With the Donbas being declared Russian what I see happening is Putin seeing how the partial mobilisation of 300,000 goes, it's probably just the first load of call ups from what I'm hearing. If that doesn't succeed, I can see the Ukraine getting a tactical nuke and then maybe essentially we all die. March was a huge mistake.

In an interesting geo-political development, Finland refuses to extradite 6 wanted persons to Turkey, the chief specialist in the Finnish Ministry of Justice said: 'I informed Turkey that the files could not be re-evaluated, as decisions taken by the Ministry of Justice based on extradition laws cannot be appealed'. Back in August Turkey submitted a list of people it wanted extradited as a condition for lifting its veto over Sweden and Finland's bid to join NATO. In response, Turkish President Erdogan says he will stick to his position on the issue of Sweden and Finland joining NATO until promises made to Ankara are fulfilled. Kadyrov (Chechen military leader) talking seriously today about wanting to low yield nuke Ukraine, that's the second high up talking about it now. 'In my personal opinion, more drastic measures should be taken, up to the declaration of martial law in the border territories and the use of low-power nuclear weapons. It is not necessary to make every decision with an eye to the Western American community - it has already said and done a lot against us'.

No one will know the result of this war until Russia put their mobilisation out into the battle....of which they probably have several. I guess we will all find out....hopefully we will anyway. What gets me is that anyone thinks that any of this is a 'win' for any of us. I get people having 'sides' but the idea that anyone actually comes out of this ok is a nonsense. No one wins in this war regardless of either Russia or Ukraine/Nato coming out on top......This war started a cold war and that ends badly for everyone. Most people just don't get it. I certainly don't think kicking Russia out of the Ukraine ends with anything other than mass death. According to their constitution they have the right to go nuclear once those regions are accepted by their parliament. This sh1tshow had a chance of being ended in March/April and I think history will look back very badly on that. Edited by Stirlingsays (03 Oct 2022 10.36pm)

There's a lot of truth said here. No one has to be Russia's friend to realise that there are lots going on that's not being said....a lot of people believe a lot of half truths. It's good that this far more balanced observation gets an airing on Rogan's podcast because there is very little in our controlled media that portrays the more realistic and truthful reality of this war and how it came about. The Neo cons and media nod alongs won't listen to it but that's ok because at least it gets to be said and as we play dice with disaster and suffer to pay our bills more and more people with brains are listening....none of this needed to happen. I'll highlight this because, while it's obvious to me and many, there are still those that like to paint this war as 'goodies v baddies' when the reality is that war means death for many many people who rarely deserve it. That's independent of which side does the killing. Here is a typical example printed in our media, where the mask slips and they are prepared to print a reality instead of just focusing upon deaths inflicted by Russians. But they use the double standard of portraying this as justice rather than what it is.....killing people who didn't support Ukraine....and those areas have always had pro Russians living in them. Both sides have been ethnically cleansing since 2014. Attachment: doublestandards1.JPG (104.55Kb)

Ukraine's Zelensky calls on NATO to launch "preemptive strikes" against Russia to "eliminate the possibility" of a Russian nuclear strike. This is frigging nuts times ten. [Tweet Link]
