Ok, If you give me 100-1 I’ll have a tenner on it. Up until Trump they had a damn good record of getting involved. Happy to wait and see but they normally don’t disappoint. I am not a bookie and never bet with them. Betting is for fools in my book. So I suggest you go to one and offer them the chance to take your money. I'm not interested. You can keep it.

When I grew up the left were anti censorship, in fact only the religious right were pro censorship...and they never had power. Today's left are bag carriers for authoritarianism. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Jan 2021 12.36pm)

In 2018 I think the government instructed water supply companies to meter all water to all properties. This is to be completed this year I think. Water wastage will impact all of us and this I think is a sensible move. Tbh I've saved money since mine was installed and you probably will too. Thanks for the advice. We had it installed several years ago and our bills are consistently higher. We asked SW to check for a leak but they claimed it was ok. A week before Christmas chap came round and advised us we appear to have a small leak, if under our drive we are responsible. To date nothing been done, I have requested a hold be put on our account, they claim they have done this, who knows? As usual it falls upon Wisbech Eagle to slime his way along to defending the indefensible. If you're a working class girl being raped by a grooming gang he was happy for what happened to you to be kept from the nation. If you're a president of the US, he's happy for his voice to be denied to his voters based upon what corporations think. You really do have a terrible problem with the truth don't you and can never accept being wrong. Constantly dragging up misrepresentations, which have been repeatedly and comprehensively shown to be untrue, in a petty attempt at defamation is a pretty disgusting trait. I suggest you take a break from your determination to always be right and seeking to defend the indefensible just because it might mean you have to admit you have been wrong in the past. Take a walk or go and lie down to contemplate how life will be after you have been vaccinated. Maybe commit yourself to going out to help a few poor immigrants who are suffering as a result of the pandemic. In other words, try to be a decent guy for a change. It's good for your soul.

I have made no misrepresentations of you. Anyone who has read the posts covering both the descriptions knows the accuracy of them. Your pin dancing doesn't fool anyone who cares for honesty.

Coward. My grandfather went bankrupt through gambling. My brother lost a fortune and now lives in much reduced circumstances. So it's far from cowardice. It's hard experience and lessons learned. My father took the lesson of his father even harder. He never borrowed anything, ever. He paid bills, in cash, on the day they arrived and never had a bank account. He had very little but what he did have was his. And he never gambled. He wouldn't even buy a raffle ticket.

You were the one to talk of 'very very long odds', so I see nothing wrong with a one off bet with one person....No one is asking you to start a gambling career only back your own words. Still, free country isn't it.....Except with people like you deciding things of course.

I refuse to go into why again, as those who have read them don't need tedious repetition, but you have misrepresented constantly and it's really showing yourself in a terrible light by refusing to acknowledge that fact. That's up to you. If you want to portray yourself as a fool I cannot stop you.

I would gladly put you in touch with my brother, who has supported Palace even longer than I have, but he is now 90, unwell and has never used the HOL. He doesn't suffer fools very well either so I won't raise his blood pressure by trying. No doubt you will though dismiss that as just a "story". More truth you have difficulty with.
