Even I didn’t when I was a MD. Biden’s Chief of Staff has just resigned, which I suspect is not unconnected to these events.

As I've previously stated, I regard this whole situation as considerably over fabricated in importance and purely political in pursuit. Indeed, previously you found no excuses for Trump holding classified documents and then suddenly like magic Biden doesn't do his own filing. As some of these documents were found in Biden's garage and were from Obama's administration I have considerable doubts that current 'chiefs of staff' had anything to do with them and their security.....that would be the security services old bean. So really I'm just highlighting the rank hypocrisy of Democrats and their supporters when it comes to double standards. In my view, whether this is Biden or Trump or whoever sits in the WH. The whereabouts of documents of a highly sensitive nature is a security matter and something they should be tracking. Let us just say that the discovery that they aren't doing their jobs properly or conscientiously comes as no surprise to me. Probably too busy telling social media sites which hurty words they want to censor from conservatives. It should also be noted that these documents were discovered at the Biden abode before the mid term elections. Basically when your security services are involved in political favours....Well, that's little better than a banana republic. Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Jan 2023 7.49pm)

Basically when your security services are involved in political favours....W ell, that's little better than a banana republic. Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Jan 2023 7.49pm) If you cannot see the very obvious differences between the Trump and Biden situations then nothing I say is going to dent your prejudice. There are no double standards at all. Only the completely indoctrinated right think there are. Both events are being independently investigated. They will determine what action, if any, is required. When one involves obstruction and destruction and the other openness and cooperation it doesn’t seem likely that the action will be identical. Why on earth would Biden have announced the discovery before the mid-terms when he had no need to announce it at all? That he has at all is to be praised, not criticised. Avoiding the kind of reaction we are seeing from the right is to be welcomed. You repetition of the nonsensical conspiracy theories about the security forces being politically biased is, I suppose, only to be expected. They do their job. That the job requires a significant oversight of the nutty right in the USA might be unfortunate but doesn’t imply any kind of bias. I have no doubt that all of this will result in a review of procedures. Which is never a bad thing. We can all learn. Well most of us can! The guy that is Biden’s Chief of Staff has been his wing man for many years. He would have been responsible for liaison with the security forces. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (22 Jan 2023 10.07pm)

I would hope that there is greater security provided to the POTUS which they can either accept or decide to ignore, Both seem to have happened!
