Then there must be an awful lot of such places around the UK, given their strength. Which is strange because I have not once encountered a 6 fingered person with half a brain. I did though encounter quite a lot of half brained people during and just after the Brexit vote, although many have since disappeared from view, presumably in shame. Do you not realise how dumb you make yourself appear when you answer every rhetorical question and counter every ironic comment?

Is it true that you answer every question with a question. "who told you that?"

They must be really embarrassed that our economy is doing better than all our major European competitors. I'm still waiting for the sky to fall. Still, the facts never bothered you, did they. NO doubt you will be voting Labour in the hope that Starmer will move us back to Europe. You might not have six fingers, but you certainly aren't going to win any brain size competitions. The facts do bother me. There are some here which show rather a different picture to the one you seek to present:- The sky was never going to fall in but the golden dawn of opportunity hasn’t arrived either and there is nothing on the horizon which indicates anything is ever going to happen that will justify leaving an arrangement that provided so much benefit to us.

Labour have a plan for everything it appears. Most of them will cost you though because I’ve seen more meat on a butchers apron that in the labour plan book. If you expect to see anything more than unrealistic promises to address voters deep seated prejudices during an election campaign, from anyone, then you are being wildly optimistic. I disregard all of them. I don’t even bother to read them. I’ll look at real proposals made by a government when they are in a position to actually do something.

Interesting way of choosing how to cast a vote.

That’s my approach to representative politics. Fine except how do you know the candidate and I am not being confrontational. I sympathise with your ideals. We have a new Tory candidate in Beckenham I have no idea who she is or how reliable or trust worthy she is. I could go to meetings but what's the point she will say whatever she thinks the voters want to hear so unless I know her personally it's a lottery. My benchmark is where you and I disagree. MP's are voted in on an election manifesto unless during the campaign a candidate publicly deviates from the manifesto I expect them to keep their word. It's why I despised the Tory MPs who in the Theresa May GE said they supported the referendum results and then voted against it. It was quite obvious that unlike Ken Clarke who made it clear he was pro EU they were liars and deceived the electorate. So unfortunately my strategy for selecting an MP only works after they have been elected and proved themself.

So despite all the nonsense about doom and gloom from the likes of you, our economy is doing fine. Most Brexit supporters expected a bumpy ride for the initial period after we left, but despite a global pandemic, our performance is a pleasant surprise. What this proves is that you and your idiot Remain friends were talking a load of crap. That is the fact I like best.

Quite literally everything promised by the Leave campaign has not come to fruition; cheaper weekly shop, better NHS performance, lower immigration, cheaper energy bills, more trade with the rest of the world, easiest trade deal in history etc. etc. etc. None of it has happened, and everyone who told you it would has sailed off into the sunset... and still the penny doesn't drop that you were sold a crock of s***. In fact, Farage comes along with exactly the same sales pitch he had 8 years ago, and a good percentage of people still bloody buy it. Now that is funny.

One thing is certain. Brexit is not a major issue in this GE.
