Maybe Wickham's due another injury, who knows but, if he's got 2/3 games in him before then I'd lay more cash on him finding the net than CB at the moment, he's still drawing a wage so what's to lose He's been out a long time, it's likely he isn't fully match fit. How long would you give him if a substitution was necessary?

Wickham will not play until the Derby game, he will score a goal, get injured in the celebrations and will not play for us again.

Glaring miss aside (that would've been ruled out for offside anyway) I think he looked good today. Put himself about and won a few headers... Very rusty but there's a player in there!! (CEO of Connor Wickham Appreciation Club)

I know hes sick note but I really like him and glad that he got on the pitch today. Im not saying hes gonna be great or that he should be sold, Its such a shame that he cant have a run of games defining what we should do with him. I'll never forget his semi final goal against watford COYP Edited by eagle@ tn34 (26 Dec 2019 7.04pm)

Would be good to give Wickham full time in FA Cup tie against Derby so as to rest Ayew who's needed more so in the far more important Premiership matches. Connor needs a confidence boost that a good run out in this game should provide.

Despite the miss I thought he did well when he came on today and brought more physical presence to the attack when we needed it.

Love Wickham, if he can come on and play like that every game we won't need a new striker.
