Burnley started with two strikers and had one on the bench - what did we have on the bench, sweet FA - what did we get up front in the window, sweet FA - how many goals have we scored, sweet FA. It doesn't take a genius to see where the fault lies - with the Board. ONE RECOGNISED STRIKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Parish saved the club. Fantastic we thank you . But you need to move on Parish and sell to a billionaire who wants to put money into the club.

NBC pundits said Palace deserved at least a point and played well and that de Boer should stay. I agree.

I don't understand all the support for FdB. All he did today was play a formation every man and his dog knew was the right decision and we had to lose three on the trot for that. A good manager with real tactical insight would have dropped Puncheon and not have played Lee, would be working with the chairman to identify much needed transfer targets, could motivate his players & would have identified an effective strategic direction for the team and approach to individual games. Playing the right formation is something my mum could do. When Wilf, RLC and Sakho are fit we will be a different proposition entirely in that formation and I'm neither for or against sacking FdB at the moment, he does seem pointless as a manager but other options aren't that attractive but this club is currently a laughing stock in football.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I have a suspicion that Parish has never kicked a competitive football in his life, at school level or even for a sunday team. I don't think he really understands the game as well as plenty on here which may be the reason why he can't see the bleedin' obvious re:the squad.

We cant score goals anymore. Thats a shame as it means we will get relegated. We created loads of chances, and couldnt score a single goal, incredible performance really to not score with over 20 shots. Confidence is massive, we have plenty of players who know how to score but have been a bit baron. Benteke did everything right for his 1 on 1 and their keeper made a cracking save, Dann controlled his efforts superbly, both get cleared off the line and the header? Last season it's not even spoken about as we all know it's buried in the net. Once we score and get a point or 2 we will be ok. Southampton are struggling up top too, hopefully we have RLC back and a bit more luck in front of goal.

PARISH, you f***ed up the window so don't panic now and sack Frank. We were much the better side today with players to come back and Sakho - I saw green shoots today. We controlled the game for long periods and did start to knock the ball around with some good first time passing.
First match 5th October 1974 - not a good day! |

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Unfortunately, we did not create enough chances and the few we had ... we didn't put them away. Seen nothing yet to indicate that it's going to get better in the short-term. Four matches down with nothing to show and we have ManU, ManC and Chelsea upcoming to rub our noses in the deep $hite. Forget Southampton too ... that's another home defeat.

This post has been merged from a topic called '70% possession, 23 shots ' by Guntrisoft Staggering stats. As good an away performance as i can remember and we missed at least 3 sitters. No way can anyone blame De Boer for that defeat

No, all Palace did was go direct!" What f***ing game was he watching? Does he have Ann original thought in his head.. ever?
