Good performance today. Was cheering loud and proud. Don't believe you... unless you agree he is better than the dross you have been spewing out like a misguided teenager. I hope you now accept he is not as poor as you have been chanting. The Radio, the TV, social media and the manager have complemented him.

i think his confidence will grow and he will only improve after this. remember who bought him- pulls. say what you want about the man but his signings have been class. i think that his confidence was just low after being second string under speroni, and then mccarthy after speroni was dropped, and then mandanda after he was injured. until allardyce, no manager was willing to give him a run

No spectacular saves today, it looked like the Chelsea players just kept shooting right at him, but i think it was more good anticipation and he was where he needed to be when the ball got there.

So he didn't play well today? He absolutely did ! And he's played well recently, but it's undeniable that he's been poor in the past.

I know that as do most sensible posters , but he has had more than one good game for us , people seem to forget it was his good form that helped us get to the giddy heights of fifth after he displaced McCarthy. He has has good and bad games in equal measure since then , unfortunately some weak minded have jumped on the every goal is his fault band wagon.

Some of your posts have been obsessively blinkered and biased. Nevertheless, glad you enjoyed the game.

Have to say, the save of the game was the one by Townsend. Finally weak, pathetic refereeing actually went our way for once. Confidence has bought back Hennessey's footwork. It's the first thing that goes when your confidence is low as a keeper. He owes us a lot more good performances to be fair, but I'm genuinely happy for the guy.

In the form Hennessey was in today even a penalty might have been no problem.
