Well at least the Palace club doctor will make a bundle on his private fees for what is now nearly a 24 hour medical. I like a thorough doctor. It's the same Doc who did Wickhams medical.!

Nobody actually knows what this heart problem is. It may just be a condition, like an irregular heartbeat or something like that. Where have you seen it came up a few months ago?? You are making a statement without any back up source to it. The first anyone heard of anything was in Big Sam's press conference yesterday If everyone had to include links to everything they said in a post this forum would be overrun with hyperlinks. The first that you may have heard of it was in Sam's presser yesterday but many others will recall that he was withdrawn from the Sunderland squad just before a match on medical advice three or four months ago. If you want to know more try Googling it

PVA DEAL EDGING CLOSER Patrick van Aaanholt's transfer to Crystal Palace from Sunderland could be completed today. The left-back had a medical yesterday after the clubs agreed a fee of £14m. This must be the longest build up to a transfer to Crystal Palace .......ever!

Then you also know he went on to play the next game and all the subsequent games as well. So that really must have been a serious heart condition hey? The fans on here are just being impatient. If it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't. Moaning about how long it's taking won't speed it along.

Its the way we do things Schlupp had a medical on Friday 13 January in London and here he is, in The Guardian, at 1641h on the same day, holding up the shirt: So it's not always "the way we do things" is it, and neither was it a "low key announcement"?
