And what boarding school has just failed an Ofsted inspection ? for a book in the school library calling for death to all gays ?

clue : West Yorkshire

Sums it up, really.

The influence of religion over the organisation of society should be consigned to the dustbin of history.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

the oddest thing in this whole thread is the mention of mung beans.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

This is almost laughable. The British media explodes with fury because some pathetic losers send monkey emojis to a footballer, yet this school is 'rapped' for allowing access to a book which spirals out of the hate crime orbit by it's sheer evil contents.

And someone defended it being in the library for 'research purposes'.

The Nazi's deliberately murdered gays & jews.

They also forcefully gang raped & often impregnated white girls in occupied territory.

They were also deeply racist and had zero respect for cultures other than their own.

They had a big problem with Capitalism & the charging of interest on lending. This tied in with their virulent anti-Semitism.

Their heroic cult leader was a Teetotal decorated warrior who clearly had mental health issues. A fella who abstained from many types of food. A fella whose private love-life was controversial. Not very educated but he did have a missionary zeal and a confirmed belief in his divine destiny. A charismatic leader who could move thousands to follow him with his great speeches.

The Nazi's destroyed Freedom of speech, intellectual life and legitimate political opposition. They burned & banned books they disagreed with.

The Nazi's blazed a trail of conquest across thousands of miles of territory in the blink of an eye. Using weapons and compliant local functionaries to do their bidding.

If the Nazi's regarded you as an outsider, they would enslave you and work you to death. They imposed special punitive taxes on people they didnt like.

The Nazis promoted high fertility among their own and a lack of reproduction among their enemies.

So they did, no surprise then that the British establishment supported them.

Some did, to an extent, until the true nature of the Nazis became clear. The Nazis didn't do much of this stuff until a few years after taking power. Really most was only known about after Poland was taken. By that time there was little or no British support for the Nazis. Any actual supporters were quickly imprisoned and if you're thinking of Edward - shipped off to somewhere where he was essentially in exile and allowed no contact with the outside world.
Even people like Moseley denounced the Nazis in the end. It just is more fun if no historians mention it and go on about what was a very muted and incredibly small amount of support for the nazis in Britain. You would probably find more support for ISIS in Britain, than you ever would have done for the Nazis.
You should look up the Battle of Cable Street, I think you'd enjoy it.

'No-one here will shed any tears over the disappearance of German democracy'.

'Herr Hitler has saved his country' - night of the long knives.

Daily Mail, their staff even wore their blackshirts to work.

They preferred Hitler to Stalin.

Even with hindsight, most sane people would still see Stalin as a murdering scum bag regardless of Hitler's later lunacy.

So a small part of the establishment was pro Nazi and huge numbers of ordinary folk were pro Soviet.

McCarthyism was largely focused on people who had been anti-Hitler before anyone else. They had thought the Russian example preferable at the time. Some were accused of "premature anti-Fascism".
