This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle SSN repeating that Palace turned down £70m and want £80m - SSN adding that Palace would have to compromise to get a deal. That doesn't make sense as it assumes Palace want to make a deal. Plus SSN repeating that Zaha has made a formal transfer request. What does that add up to, anyone? How does that change the picture? And is Zaha being driven by his agent who will coin it big if he does make a move?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Wow the vitriol directed towards Wilf is amazing....how fickle some people are. So far we have no idea what’s going on : 1. Did Palace agree that if a reasonable offer was made he would be allowed to leave ? If so was £70m plus 2 players worth a least 15 million a reasonable offer ? 2. Was Wilf promised that Palace would invest in players this summer to move the team forward ? If so do 2 out of contract players who were released by their clubs as not good enough and a loan made permanent represent an improvement ? Who knows but I for one are not prepared to condem Wilf who has carried this club for several seasons without knowing what’s going on at the circus.

Fair comment, although his ‘bro’s’ and advisors are fvcking tw@ts.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Apart from the super ethical reliable Sky Sports & any of its associated companies there are no other confirmations of a transfer request. How come the BBC is not running this story?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Lessons learnt here for us. In both the zaha and wan bissaka cases, the club failed to sell them a vision worthy of the short shelf life of a baller. Yes $ are important, but so is the ideal of playing for something. With Roy at the helm, hardly the image of a compelling future project. Especially with the cold shoulder Roy gave to wilf at the England national team

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle OK Zaha is a top player, frustrated he didnt make it at Man UTD, now wants another chance. Now if we had secured Batsy and kept AWB, he would see CP developing as a club, but who have we brought in and its the last day tomorrow? Now he may consider his talents is wasted in a dead end job with CP.. Put yourselves in his shoes.. he plays for a African team because Hodgson didnt rate him for England!! When Don Rogers left the club for example we just evolved .. Zaha could be out for the season with a bad injury and we would evolve!! CPFC fan for life..come rain come shine

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Think this saga has gone on to long enough Wilf and or the club owe it to the fans to say exactly what the F*** is going on , the club and he are nothing without us, it's time they both woke up. I for one am totally p****d off with all this crap just want to go into one season before I peg it feeling positive about it and finish well up the table.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I don't understand this. McCarthy was supposedly driving down to London last night to sign for 3 to 8m. Next day Everton supposedly put in a bid that includes said player as part of the deal. So who is lying? Is he part of deal, a make weight, or a separate transfer?
I am not a bot. No, seriously, I'm not. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle If ex Watford Liverpool & England John Barnes knows what he is talking about then perhaps if we sell Zaha, hell be back in a 18 months.... Take the money (and players) and get him back on the cheap. Blah blah blah - I am no journalist but thought I could make up some guff like the rest. I might even be right in the future....
