Mueller is now testifying. Donny is sitting in the West Wing, sweat pants on, cheetos in hand, quaking in his boots like a little girl. That went well.

I know and watching you lot biting into mid air is highly amusing if a little desperate. As I said near the beginning of the thread, Trump's going nowhere and you lot are just squawking like a dumped tart on a Saturday night. Still fun to listen to though. No one was biting into mid air today, Stirly. Nadler: "Did you exonerate the president of obstruction"? Mueller: "Nope". Oops Trump is lying to the American people AND he will indicted as soon as he leaves office. That will be a truly hilarious moment.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Barr once again tied Mueller's hands behind him by issuing instructions not to provide anything beyond the written report. This caused him to have to delay his responses whilst he doubly checked exactly what was said. No-one can ever recall every word of such a long report. So this was a stitch up designed to make him appear dithering. Nevertheless there were some telling blows landed. Impeachment is unlikely, given the current balance in the Senate. This is all about 2020 and whether the swing votes go Trump's way again. I have faith that they won't.

He just can't stop winning. Pretty easy when most of your opponents are a bunch of losers.

If this is "winning" then I would not want to be Trump if he starts "losing"! This is from "538" which doesn't conduct it's own poll but averages the major ones, using a weighting system to try to remove partiality and past unreliability:- It's a pretty flat line difference at present. That's without him actually having an opponent to lie about yet, so he has to spread the untruths about. I cannot though see it changing much. This is a devil we all now know and not the white knight full of promises in 2016. Those who still see him as Godlike won't change their mind, and it's very unlikely that those who see through him will either. This is the Dems to lose. Play it safe and Trump is toast.
