Todays first download is a set by Yes that was recorded in Maryland Heights, Missouri in 1994 while the band were on the "Talk" tour. This is in superb quality and the audio for this boot has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This isnt my favourite Yes line up. I prefer to have Steve Howe on guitars and Rick Wakeman on keyboards, but this is still a good set. The band play a good selection of their work with wicked versions of Heart Of The Sunrise and Roundabout. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard recording of the set. This is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted - I've not had any requests for any of his stuff and this is the first bootleg by BW that I've ever seen. Todays extra download is a set by Joe Cocker that was recorded at the BBC in 1968. The show was rebroadcast on the Alan (Fluff) Freeman Saturday Rock Show in 1989. The quality is superb and Joe performs some classic tracks like "With A Little Help From My Friends" and "Delta Lady". I've only posted a couple of other boots by Joe - good quality ones are fairly hard to come by. This is a top show and is thoroughly recommended... Apologies for the messed-up requests yesterday. Can i ask for a temporary bit of sophistication ? I would ask for specific albums, but this has proved problematic before. Can I ask for some/any music performed by The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, being conducted by Herbert Von Karajan ? Typical examples would be "The Planet Suite", "1812 Overture". However , any pieces of music would be fantastic. I disengage, I turn the page.
