I suspect it would be for any new manager, but we don't actually know the details of any supposed "restrictions" do we? Parish mentioned Sakho plus one, if Sam had stayed which, as previously discussed, would be around the £40m mark, which wouldn't be too shabby would it, if you add in a couple of loans. 40m . I don't think we can complain in that's the case. It's extremely unlikely we will break our transfer record this season. Like you said 2 loans and 2 or 3 players. For the rest of the budget. As long as there an improvement on the players that were released. I'll be a happy with that.

If these reports are true and that there are disagreement in the board regarding the managers post. Then this is this club all over, nothing is simple. Josh Harris and David Blizter are swaying more to the employment of Dyche, were as SP Is less convinced. If Dyche is the preferred target from the Americans point of view then why all the pussy footing about interviewing others for the job. It reported that Dyche is keen on the job,but is worried over the transfer funds. The club have sent 71million quid on players over the last two seasons and Harris and Blizter are worried about the costs of wages and transfers, is this one of the reason why Sakho signing is out. I can not see because of Dyche being on holiday that, has stopped any communication between the two. So have we just interviewed the likes of De Boer, Pellergrino as a last minute back up plan if Burnley refuse permission or Dyche turns us down.

It's simply summer paper talk.We do not know who has been interviewed etc.

I also wonder how long it will be before this dithering will start affecting players mindsets..i.e. Benteke et al who may start wondering if they're set for yet another season bobbing around in the lower reaches due to what seemingly is our lackadaisical approach.

Maybe SP, as well as looking for a new manager, has been looking for new investment to offer the new manager more money to spend as well as looking after our financial future. For me, Id be happy with Dyche, FDB or Pellegrino. Its now got to the point when any of them will do. Its not going to please everyone whoever they appoint but at least we will have a manager. Big Sam didn't please everyone and now we think hes a legend.

Regardless of Manager, Palace along with 12 others will be aiming for 40 points ASAP.

I'd personally suggest, seeing as the reports originate from the Mirror and the Express, that it's complete bulls***.
