The muslims who throw people off of buildings are extremists. Same goes for the acid attacking ones. I saw on the news today that a man who believes in Jesus Christ murdered someone. Down with Christianity! There was once a Hindu who slaughtered some people, we should all be afraid of Hinduism! Simplistic nonsense. You probably interact with moderate muslims on a daily basis. Do they throw people off of buildings, and are you afraid of the bloke running the corner shop, working down at kwik fit or the local library? Fear mongering xenophobic nonsense. Muslims are people too, just like you. Its a ridiculous argument. Have you read the Quran? If not then what are you talking about? You dont understand the thing which you are attacking, which is a less than stellar move, Stirley. Same bollocks as your pal Trump. Oh look an illegal immigrant killed someone (they do so at lesser rates proportionally than American citizens) we should all be afraid of immigrant rapists and killers! You should be fearful of Islamic extremists. Moderate Islam which is practiced by many of the people you see wandering around Wisbech is nothing to be afraid of. Xenophobes fear things which are unfamiliar to them, only for that reason. Yes I've read the Qu'ran....I doubt you have. You waffle away comparing Islam to other religions....of course all groups contain violent people. The question of whether a fear is 'irrational' or not is how well does this fear stack up against the figures......how violent and/or criminal and culturally different groups are....what are the numbers. Now the percentage of Muslims within the country was at 4.7 at the 2011 census which itself was a doubling compared to 2001. The percentage of Muslims within the country at this moment probably stands at somewhere between 5 and probably 8 percent....we will know better in 2021 Yet they comprise over 15 percent of the prison population....and those figures are nearly three years old. So the percentage of Muslims in prisons is roughly double the percentage of Muslims in the country. Well, we have your invective...which seems to be based purely on 'feel good' ideology...and sure, there are plenty of perfectly nice and pleasant Muslims...There are perfectly nice people within any group.....But statistics don't care about what sounds good.....they show reality if you are honest in analyzing them. This one community is responsible for the vast majority of terror attacks in the country since their community has expanded and in the world generally. The significant majority of the country's security spending is dedicated to this one group....Yet they comprise currently well under ten percent of the population. Secondly, this question is further answered is should non Muslims fear large number of Muslims coming into their area....Well, lets look at what has happened to the areas of the country where this has happened. Essentially you have had 'white flight' and increasing Islamic dominance of areas which is extending out. For those who want their culture and living spaces to retain its English heritage these are not 'irrational' fears. Obviously these areas are now devoid of their previous inhabitants......Were they 'Islamophobic' then Mainey? In terms of Islamic attitudes in the UK. Only one in three British Muslims (34%) would contact the police if they believed that somebody close to them had become involved with jihadists. 23% of British Muslims said Islamic Sharia law should replace British law in areas with large Muslim populations. 52% of the Muslims surveyed said they believe homosexuality should be illegal, compared to 22% of non-Muslim Britons. Nearly half believe it is unacceptable for a gay or lesbian to teach their children. 31% of British Muslims think polygamy should be legalized. Among 18-to-24-year-olds, 35% think it is acceptable to have more than one wife. Thirty-nine percent of Muslims surveyed believe women should always obey their husbands, compared to 5% for non-Muslims. One in three British Muslims refuse completely to condemn the stoning of women accused of adultery. Of the British Muslims surveyed, 35% believe Jewish people have too much power in the UK, compared to 8% of non-Muslims. So essentially Mainey....What you refer to as 'Islamophobia' isn't a 'phobia' at all...Individual Muslims may be fine...As as a wider community it isn't an 'irrational response at all....Not if you value significantly different values. I am not a totalitarian living in a black and white world, there are some grey areas. However moderate Islam is generally fine in my book. Extremists are the problem, just like the conservative movement of England. But do you support and condone all Islamic practices and beliefs? It's a simple question.

An ISIS extremist can interpret certain things one way, whereas your pal in the office probably looks at it differently. So its not a simple question, as with any ancient religion or ideology.

"Send her back, send her back!" The baying racist mob of yet another MAGA rally. Trump claims he "doesnt support that" and moved to shut it down by "talking quickly" yet it took 13 seconds for the commander in cheat to speak again, only after the mob stopped chanting independently. He also started this chant directly by his racist tweets, directed at 3 women born in America, and 1 naturalized citizen. Trump's bid for reelection is underway and the ethos is clear: something akin to the BNP circa 1984. Might just work too but you can almost hear the suburbanites, millennials and educated women walking into the blue light of creepy Joe.

I'm going to enjoy this election even better than the last one.
