You still have a problem with reality Wisbech. Come back when you understand population.
And please stop going on about skin colour. That, as you know full well, is just a detail.
I know that 'White British' people make your skin crawl. It is clear in everything you write.

Like you they feared being overrun.

It’s you who has the problem with reality. You believe “The Great Replacement Theory” which has been debunked here many times, yet you still trot out its flawed ideas as though they are facts. Will there be change? Yes, there always is. Will there be mixing? Yes, there always is. Will we be replaced? No, because we won’t be there and our successors will neither notice nor care. It will be theirs to enjoy and not yours to control.

People who seek to classify themselves as white whilst hiding the underlying additional word “supremacist” is what makes my skin crawl.

You won’t want to read these, but others might. They concentrate on the USA but most of the points are universal:-

You silly person.

Black people never came here in the kind of numbers happening today.
Have you been to London lately?

You simply don't understand population.
The non British White population has grown by around 25% in two lifetimes. Of the 75%, a large proportion is past child bearing age. Think a little harder about that.

I just switch off when you mention terms like 'supremacist'.
It is the usual moronic tactic to avoid debate.

There are words and then there are actions.

True motivations are shown in where he lives and its demographics. The reason Cornwall is as Cornwall is precisely because its culture and living spaces are extremely British.....Over 90 percent white....Deliberately moved to.

As we all know he's a third worldist for you, not for him and only exists on here to troll demographics he dislikes.

He wants you to live with all the problems while he virtue signals without having to deal with any negatives.

There's a word for that kind of person.

Third worldists, who actually like and live in areas of high diversity can be respected for being true to their principles even if we oppose their ideology as globalist decline for each country it's imposed on.

They cheer on the destruction of British living spaces because they have some dislike, whereas the financial/governmental system does it for short term housing prices and wage suppression....the long term isn't a consideration because passing the poisoned buck onto the next government is what happens in neoliberalism.

That flaw in our form of democracy can also be seen in energy and housing policy since the sixties....essentially since the generation of social conservative attitudes died off and the left were allowed to rule the universities and teach their corrosive brew.

Agree.

They only do that so they can sell stuff, nothing to do with what they really believe. They just want to seem ok to increase their sales.

No, it's because the advertising rules imposed conditions on 'representation'. They go beyond the requirement to ensure they don't make a mistake and get penalised.

I'm so glad I don't have to watch the decline of social liberalism removing meritocracy as its most important condition for hiring.

It should be far easier to stop paying the BBC if you don't agree with its politics. I have, but it took me a while before I took that step. It should be easier for others.

It is a conspiracy theory because it makes assumptions about the future that history tells us won’t be true. Just as my parents fears about the arrival of the West Indians and East African Indians proved to be untrue so will yours. We now have a diverse British nation, but it is still British with some of those who arrived decades ago being the proudest members. It just needs working on, rather than the isolation, rejection and hostility that you practice and advocate.

Whenever I read the term “White British” my flesh crawls. I know it’s a term used by government but I sincerely hope for not much longer. We don’t describe Asians as light brown, or Arabs as dark brown, but we lump huge numbers of disparate people into black or white categories. This is worse than useless. It encourages skin colour based racism. If someone is Welsh, call them Welsh. Same with Scotland, Cornwall or Ireland. Their skin colour is unimportant. Only their attitudes and allegiances matter. We would doubtless see many more categories emerge but better that than skin colour based racism.

Oh but you can see the future when Brexit is involved. My ball and I’m taking it home !

It might surprise you but this is something that annoys me too.

What is presented on TV should reflect reality and not seek to make political points. Mixed race couples exist and are as normal and acceptable as any other these days. Likewise with gay couples. We have good friends in both groups and think nothing of it. Which is a great reflection on how our society has matured in my lifetime.

There is no need for every advert to feature a mixed race couple. It’s not real and it risks being counterproductive.

If someone as un thespian like as me has spotted it, then why no one at the companies who makes these adverts , films and tv shows. One reason really. Scared to upset minorities, ironic using that word as in this sense it’s actually true in a numbers way as well as the way it’s used with non whites.

You, unsurprisingly, miss the point completely.

I wasn’t comparing numbers. I was highlighting the fear of change.

No one argues that there won’t be change. There always has been and almost certainly always will. Along with everything in life changes are occurring faster than in the past. That’s just the way it is. Trying to hold back the tide of history is a pointless waste of time and effort. What we must do is find ways to embrace and harvest it.

Arguing we will be replaced is a totally nonsensical idea. We will be replaced whatever happens. Our children and grandchildren will replace us and theirs them. Their experiences and attitudes will be different to ours, just as ours are different to our parents and grandparents, who may well have not been comfortable with the life we lead. There’s nothing new involved and you have neither the right nor the means to try to control the lives of our successors. That’s theirs. All we can do is ensure we leave behind a situation in which they can live successfully and happily. Not one full of fear and division.

I am sure you switch off at the use of terms such as supremacist, as It carries such bad connotations. Others though won’t miss the point or the reasons why it’s use in this context is appropriate.

Why, to a few of the most blinkered here, it seems to matter where I happen to currently live or how often I personally witness anything, beats me.

I have retired to somewhere I love, having lived in many places both in the UK and elsewhere during my life. I have enough experience to reach opinions and a brain that functions perfectly well and a keen interest in current affairs. I haven’t noticed you, or anyone else here, not commenting on issues in the USA, Ukraine or Gaza just because you don’t live there!

I very much doubt it has anything to do with upsetting minorities who are still a minority. Pleasing the majority makes more commercial sense.

I don’t know but I would love to be at one of the meetings when the agencies make their pitch to meet an advertising brief. It would be revealing. Maybe a good subject for some investigative journalism.
