You don't know me. I am a very rational person but it takes a rational person to realise that. I suppose it would be fair to say that I would question the decision making of someone who was genuinely religious, but if he is just a Muslim by birth only then I'd be more concerned that a terrible Mayor was elected purely because he pandered to and was favored by a certain demographic because of his religion or race.

Fear of mainstream Islam isn't irrational for an atheist or indeed anyone of any other religion. You see, I can just look at Savile town or indeed any other majority Islamic country in the world for that evidence. I only have to look at the coming FGM lessons about to be introduced into our schools or at the number of acid attacks that are here from their culture. It isn't irrational.
