Spot on boris. Yeah, if everyone sticks to it, and they won’t because of its ambiguity And also because most people are selfish idiots.

There is also a need to get society and the economy working again for numerous reasons. Not just financial but for many health reasons too. The people who do have a problem are tube and packed train commuters or people who cannot social distance at work. But that is really a problem for those who are vulnerable or live with vulnerable people, or indeed can’t not keep away from their grandparents or elderly parents because they’re kicking up a fuss about it. Seriously, this country is full of some annoying types.

It doesn’t matter who is wearing a cloth mask or FFP1,2 or FFP3 mask. If you watch interviews outside they stay metres apart. The only place you’ll struggle to distance yourself will be on public transport or at work. Everywhere else you can, if you want to that is.

People with coronavirus are dying 10 years earlier than they would have naturally: Study "Using a statistical measure called "years of life lost," researchers found that COVID-19 strips more than a decade away from a person's life, on average. For men, the viral infection takes away about 13 years of potential life lived. For women, it's more like 11 years. Both numbers account for underlying long-term conditions. " [Link]
If you're 80, you actually have between 8 and 10 years left to live on average [Link] This puts to bed the callous, self serving mantra that if someone dies of covid-19 aged 80 they were at death's door anyway.

Seriously, this country is full of some annoying types. Everyone has a problem when anything other than a clear and simple message (what we had) gets replaced by a more nuanced one. Although really, the delivery of it probably doesn’t even matter. As is evident by flouting of rules, and they should be thought of as such, over the last few weeks - the second wave is an inevitability. And the people responsible for causing that will not be ‘the people who do have a problem’.

Found Boris completely ambiguous. Things should be clearer in the morning once the fifty page report is published. He says that everyone who can’t work from home should go to work, what though does this mean? If you are a hairdresser should you now go back to work tomorrow? What if you are a surveyor? Obviously you can’t survey from home but is it safe for you to resume work? No detail, just bluster. That’s my opinion anyhow.

Just idiots, people who don’t want to understand it or take any risks, or people packed on public transport. But then again if they aren’t vulnerable then they should probably get to work. One suggestion I’ve heard is half a workforce travel in the morning and half at midday.
