Irony seems to be the trend of the day.

Except when it contains less iron than it does unobtainium.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

And the irony continues. Only people won’t call this out for being laughably ironic. Because the hypocrisy on this site is unparalleled.

It's their choice how they spend their money and if they choose to use 3,800 licence fees on such a laudable endeavour then more power to them.

Employers have a legal obligation to comply with all employment laws whatever those on the out of touch and out of date right think of them, or whatever silly term they choose to use when venting their stupidity.

The managers of the BBC might all personally agree with those on the right, but they would still need to comply with the law.

The correct way to change anything you don’t like is via your elected representatives. Not by using childish language.

It was more a case of people complaining about the BBC being biased followed by someone posting up a link to a story on GB News.

It's not just the BBC plenty of other corporations are wasting their money.

You do not need 15 people to tell your staff to treat everybody with respect and fairness. That is the job of the current management guided by HR.

However companies would rather point to a Diversity department than make it the responsibility of each and every manager.

One more point

Maybe the BBC didn't cover the story.
Unlike this one.

You need to watch the series W1A on BBC iplayer; absolutely hilarious about the internal workings of the BBC.

You have run an organisation as big, widespread and diverse as the BBC have you?

Meeting legal obligations when so much of what you do is going to end up being scrutinised by every interest group imaginable is not just a job for the management and HR. It requires specialists.

This is an odd point on a football forum. How many on here have played or managed in the Premier League but is no shortage of opinions on how both could be done better.
