Among the talk of transfers with Jim White, Parish mentioned that he expects the serious building work to start around next May. If I'm not mistaken, that's a whole year longer than it was supposed to be. Unless of course you count the current preparatory as a beginning.

Development projects such as this rarely come close to planned timing. 'Around' next May is a sure message that it may not be next summer. This project has dragged forward vey slowly so far and in its location, it will be a surprise if it speeds up through the process. Id give it four years from now before it is finally up and running with 100% functionality.

Too right it's dragged on, and I can't blame you for erring on the side of caution, it's an odd choice of words, he would have said 'next summer' if he had meant it, but work may start during a season not before as building work will go on throughout the season so I'm going Christmas 2025 as the latest, if it drags on further than that I will write to SP and tell him of intention of transferring my allegiance to Charlton Athletic if he doesn't get his finger out.
