You did say that, im sure of it- someone will drag it up for me! If it’s him or starmer the goldfish then I would agree. I voted remain btw and was disappointed that leave won as my life was ok. I did state this prior to the vote and am big enough to admit it. That being said I am now fully onboard with what the majority wanted and seeing how the EU are doing all the dirty tricks available it’s clear we were the runt of the litter in their eyes. Strange how if that was the case that once we left they cannot get rid of the itch and keep inflaming it. Maybe they need us more than we need them as we are a huge importer. Time will tell. The price rises are unfortunate but again look west, east, north and south for similar situations in other countries. That’s really a worldwide issue so I don’t think UK plc is alone. Apart from no caps on fuel duty it’s all status quo although that will bite back for the French as the companies over there are mainly nationalised so what they give with one hand they will take it back with the other. In a year when France is riot central you will see that the natural process is sometimes better in the long term. Any how about you leaving the UK as it’s so rubbish. When you off then ? You been on the bru Teddy- everybody knows we have suffered the most, and will do for years, Europe has suffered, but not in the same way as us, and we are predicted to be the worst performing nation after Russia, bottom of the pile, and only because they are paying for a war- the futures bright!

Everyone's fecked....but I don't know where you get this idea that Europe isn't just as fecked. Perhaps you're still listening to the remainers' juicy fantasies....I note you still haven't relocated to Ireland...so perhaps you didn't listen that hard eh. Still that lot have been predicting nightmares since 2016.....and then they went and supported lockdown, furloughs and the Ukraine war. That's a distinct lack of concern about real economics from my perspective.....the EU stuff was nothing about economics and all about feels. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Aug 2022 3.38pm)

We are seeing the sky fall in, right now. Life for many of us will be purely as bill-payers, tax gatherers, trapped in a world of kafka-esque bureaucracy, a pocket-money society. Brought to us by the conservative party's 12 years in power. Brought in to stabilise, 'sound money' we find that the UK is paying 22.2 billions per month in debt interest alone. We need revolution.

Just read an article in national world online- it said "is the uk in a better or worse position than europe?" _" As of May 2022, the uk is in a worse position when it comes to inflation-both in termsof its overall cpl rateand the percentage pointincrease to its cpi overthe last 12 months!""The governments of our near neighbours launched economic interventions that appear to be turning the tide on inflation or keeping it at bay!" Read it, i would post link if i knew how!
