My initial thought was a realistic price might attract somebody prepared to invest a bit, but equally there is a risk that somebody may look to flip their investment quickly for a profit.

Textor has shown his true colours and explained why a minority stake in Palace is not part of his company, Eagle Holdings, strategy and therefore his desire to sell.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I hope you are correct but the click bait I saw the writer was making too many assumptions. Blitzer wanting to sell his shares in the German club is a fact. Why he wants to sell and what he will do next is open to interpretation. I have already argued that Harris and Blizter should invest in Palace a much cheaper and safer deal than say Everton. However that is wishful thinking on my part, the Americans rarely let us know what they are thinking.

Reports yesterday that he has pulled out of the Everton race as it's all too complicated. However, I think he has shown his true intentions and should still sell up and leave here. I know people are talking about Harris and Blitzer buying up Textor's shares but lets not forget that they did exactly the same, putting their names forward to buy United (and Chelsea maybe?) when they were on the market. Think they can all do one to be honest. It's hardly as though the Americans have led to record investment in the club, it's only down to Parish and our clever recruitment that we're currently in such good health.

Josh Harris is worth $8.5 billion dollars per Forbes. If he wants to invest more money into Palace, I don't think he needs to sell any other shares elsewhere in order to do so.
